New Instance Added: Crusade in Swallow’s Dock

Required Level: 60+, at least 3 players on a team

Teleport NPC: Gang Li in Reed Port (80, 117)

Rules:

1. Players cannot return back to the instance after they have been teleported out
2. There are two ways for players to leave the instance:
   

    They can either ask Yelling Hu to teleport them back to Gang Li in Reed Port by clicking on the “Go back to Reed Port” button, or they can go to the portal in Swallow’s Dock.

 

Background
Descendants of the Yan Empire and the Liao Empire have joined forces to wage war against the Song Dynasty, trying to take it down and establish a new kingdom.

Instance
 There are 3 parts in this instance.

Part I: Protect General Leopard Hu
    
Use Leaping Skill to make your way to the Song battleship by stepping on those lotus leaves floating in the water, and then help General Leopard Hu defeat The Four Villains and escape the ship safely.

You will receive a “Purple Mouth Potion” in a bag dropped by Cruel Tuan after you have escaped from the ship with Leopard Hu. It’s the cure for “Silence”, and it also makes you immune to “Silence” for 5 minutes. You cannot take the “Purple Mouth Potion” with you when you leave the instance.

You will automatically fail the quest if those rebels have gotten to general Leopard Hu and killed him in the instance. You and your teammates will be forced to teleport out of the instance (back to Gang Li) in 10 seconds.

Part II: Interception

After you have defeated The Four Villains and safely escaped with general Leopard Hu from the ship, part one of the instance is complete. A dot will appear on your map that leads you to part two of this instance.
Go find Captain Chien and initiate a conversation with him. You will see an army composed of “Wooden Puppets”, “Qing Soldiers”, and “Jade Alliance Disciples” heading over to Swallow’s Dock. Now your goal is to eliminate them before they get there. Each “Wooden Puppet” explodes when killed, causing damage to all surrounding targets within 4 meters. Right before they explode, they also drop a piece of wood on the ground for you to pick up. Collect enough wood, and you can activate the “Towers” in the game to assist you in battle.
 
There are two “Corner Towers”, one “Defense Tower”, and one “Healing Tower”.
    
“Corner Tower(x2)” needs 5 pieces of wood to activate; it delivers a powerful attack to surrounding enemieswithin 15 meters every 5 seconds.
    
“Defense Tower(x1)” needs 5 pieces of wood to activate; it reduces the attack speed of all surrounding enemies by 60% every 5 seconds.

“Healing Tower(x1)” can be activated using 15 pieces of wood; it restores the HP of all surrounding friendly targets within 10 meters.
    Once you have successfully defeated Whiskered and kept Captain Chien alive, you’ll be done with part 2 of the instance and will start the third and final part of the instance.

Part III Fu Rong
    
On your way to Swallow’s Dock, Attendant Gung, Attendant Tung, Attendant Bao and Attendant Fong will show up and harass you in an attempt to distract you from accomplishing your goal. They shouldn’t slow you down too much though, because after one of them is killed, the rest of them will lose a significant amount of attack and defense power.

Fu Rong has a very powerful attack called “Rage Breaker”; he uses this attack every 20 seconds in the game. Rage Breaker can absorb all of the attack damage inflicted on Fu Rong and reflect back upon the players and their party.

When Fu Rong’s HP drops to 50%, Fiona Wang will ask Albert Tuan for help. Albert Tuan is going to take a cheap shot at you, but it won’t cause any damage at all. Don’t worry about him.  

Fiona Wang will cast a 10-second “Advanced Distraction” Spell on a random player every 10 seconds. If this unlucky person turns out to be you, you had better stay focused and try your best to avoid getting hit by Fu Rong. If he hits you, all of the damage you receive will be multiplied by 5.

When Fu Rong’s HP drops below 20%, he’s going to launch the “Purplemouth” attack 3 times at the players. You will lose your ability to attack for a period of time after you’ve been hit by “Purplemouth”; however, remember that “Purple mouth Potion” you got from Part One of this instance? It can bring back your ability to attack; hopefully you still have it, because you’re going to need it at this most crucial moment of the instance. If you somehow manage to stay alive after those 3 attacks, victory is imminent.

Transformation Items
