Feature 8: User Shops

If you have spare items that you wish to sell, you can open up a “player shop” in one of the cities. At your player shop, players can browse the goods you’re selling and purchase what they like for a price that you’ve set. Selling items through a player shop takes a lot more effort than selling items to vendors, but the money that you can potentially receive is much greater. In order to open your player shop you must be at least Lvl 50 and have at least 30 gold. In addition to the fees attached to opening your shop, you will also have expenses related to placing orders, creating ads and simply keeping your shop open to the public. Each server can only have a certain number of player shops, so if you ever get tired of operating and maintaining your shop you can sell the entire establishment to another player on your server. Overall there’s a lot to manage, but once you get adjusted you’ll find that player shops as a whole are a very lucrative business.
