Feature 7: Life System

In the world of Dragon Oath, players have the option of learning a variety of life skills. Once you explore the entire list of available skills, you will see that there is something for everyone; whether it’s fishing, picking herbs, mining, sewing, blacksmithing, or brewing, there is always something to keep you busy. All life skills are beneficial in one way or another, so find one that best suits your class. Please note that each class also supplies a unique life skill that is passed down to its disciples. You can learn more about this subject by visiting your class trainer.

Even the most powerful warrior must look inwards and devote himself to a craft. In Dragon Oath, these crafts are known as Life Skills. Learning life skill can not only bring players income, but also promote their communication with other players. Players can take on the role of becoming the greatest Forging Master, a brilliant Magic Doctor, infamous Cook or an acclaimed Craft Master. The basic life system in Dragon Oath includes manufacturing and secondary skills:

Manufacturing skills:

Pharmacy: Can create medicines that can restore HP or MP instantly by using a variety of medicinal herbs.
Blacksmithing: Can manufacture several types of powerful weapons and armor.
Sewing: Can create several kinds of cloth armor such as gloves, wristbands, boots, shoulder pads, and hats.
Crafting skills: Can create accessories such as belts, necklaces, rings and amulets.
Mining skills: Can collect gems and ores to be used in Crafting.
Gather herb: Can collect herbs to be used in making medicine in Pharmacy.
Fishing: Can catch fish to be used in cooking.
Planting: Can plant to grow materials needed in cooking and sewing.

Secondary skills:

Pharmacology: Secondary skill of pharmacy. Regimen skills: Secondary skill of cooking.

Along with the standard life skills, each class offers a Class Life Skill which delves even deeper into a skill’s path. The class life skills taught by the masters in the temples provide unique abilities that can lead to some interesting items.

Shaolin
Enshrining: can produce an item which can temporarily increase your Strength, Defense, Poison resistance and more.
Buddha skill: Secondary skill of Enshrining which can increase the success rate of Enshrining.

Pyromancer
Flame: can produce an item which can temporarily increase your Strength, Agility, Fire Resistance, Ice Resistance and more.
Fire gathering: secondary skill of Enshrining which can increase the success rate of Flame.

Beggars Alliance
Brewage: can produce an item which can temporarily increase your Strength, Agility, Reflexes, Thunder resistance and more.
Lotus ditty: secondary skill of Brewage which can increase the success rate of Brewage.

Taoist
Chinese Alchemy: can produce an item which can temporarily increase your WillPower, Stamina and more.
Taoist: secondary skill of Chinese Alchemy which can increase the success rate of Chinese Alchemy. This is the unique life skill of Taoist. It takes some experience and gold to learn and upgrade.

Lotus Order
Spell Inscription: can produce an item which can temporarily increase all your resistance.
Delusion: secondary skill of Spell Inscription which can increase the success rate of Spell Inscription.

Voodoo
Poison making: can produce an item which can temporarily increase your Max HP, Poison attack and more.
Insect Attracting: secondary skill of Poison making which can increase the success rate of Poison making.

Royalty
Parasite: can produce item which can temporarily increase your WillPower, Reflexes etc.
Meridian theory: secondary skill of Parasite which can increase succeed rate of Parasite. This is the unique life skill of Royalty. It takes some experience and gold to learn and upgrade.

Assassin
Blue Ice: can produce an item which can temporarily increase your Max HP, Reflexes and more.
Ice gathering: secondary skill of Blue Ice which can increase the success rate of Blue Ice.

Minstrel
Secret mechanism: can produce an item which can temporarily increase all your resistance.
Urbanity: secondary skill of Secret mechanism which can increase the success rate of Secret mechanism.
