Yan Tomb

If you're up to the task, travel to North Yan by way of Luo Yang. Once you've arrived in North Yan, you'll find the Tomb of King Yan. The tomb is made up of 9 floors that are each protected by a menacing boss. As you traverse downward in the tomb towards your final adversary, your enemies will drastically grow in strength. On the bottom level of Yan's Tomb resides Old King Yan. Besides the quality high level items dropped along the way, monsters in the Tomb will be dropping Pearls of King Yan from time to time.
When you gather enough Pearls, you can trade them in for one of four possible set pieces from three different sets. Every 15 Pearls can be traded for a Lv 50 King Yan set piece, 30 Pearls can be traded for a Lv 60 Tolerance set piece, and 60 Pearls can be traded for a Lv 70 Loyalty set piece. Island Mu in North Yan (180,60) will exchange the Pearls of King Yan for you. Each set is composed of a hat, necklace, amulet, and ring. Pearl of King Yan

Crusade in Swallow's Dock

The Crusade on Swallow's Dock event is a large scale battle meant only for highly skilled players. Players are required to be at least LVL 60 and in a group of no less than 3 to start the instance. Once inside, you will need to quickly leap from boat to boat until you reach Leopard Hu, who is under attack. He must be protected at all costs and not allowed to die, because he directs you to the next part of the quest. While protecting Leopard Hu, you will receive a Purple Mouth Potion that Cruel Tuan drops on the ground. You can use it to cure "Silence" or make yourself immune to "Silence" for 5 minutes.
The 2nd part involves intercepting Captain Chien and his bandits, soldiers, and disciples. They're on their way to Swallow's Dock and must be stopped before they can complete their advance. During your interception task, you'll notice that the Wooden Puppets that you fight drop pieces of wood when defeated. These pieces of wood can be used to repair and activate the towers on the battlefield. There are three different types of towers on the field: Corner Towers, Defense Towers, and Healing Towers. The Corner Tower does an AOE attack to all enemies within 15 meters of it, the Defense Tower reduces the attack speed of enemies within 15 meters of it, and the Healing Tower restores the health of all allies within 10 meters of it.
Once Captain Chien and his followers have been defeated, you will continue on to the 3rd and final piece of the quest which involves a final showdown with Fu Rong. Before you get to fight him, his 4 advisors will distract you with relentless attacks. As soon as you defeat one of the advisors, the rest will be demoralized, and you will notice a significant decrease in their attack power. During the fight with Fu Rong, he will use devastating attacks like "Rage Breaker", which, for a short period of time, takes all damage done to him and returns it back to the player and his or her allies. Fiona Wang will also intervene and use the "Advanced Distraction" ability, which amplifies damage done to the player by 500%! It will take an incredible amount of focus and skill to take down Fu Rong and complete the quest. Good luck players!

Master and Apprentice System

Dragon Oath always emphasizes teamwork, so there's an optional "Master and Apprentice" system that rewards players for partnering together in the game. A master and his apprentice will receive bonus experience and other benefits for fighting monsters and taking part in events together. If you're new to the game, becoming an apprentice is the easiest way to speed up your level progression. Don't worry though, if you don't like your master, you can give him a negative rating, thus decreasing the rewards he receives when he's with you.
As a new edition to the .85 patch, Masters and Apprentices will be able to earn rare items and pets once the Disciple reaches certain levels. Initially, the Master and Apprentice will only be able to earn a group buff, but eventually they will be able to receive prizes like an Adorable Mouse pet, special fireworks, and rare gems. All of these rewards will be given out by Lily White in Da Li (266, 127). One of the rewards available to players is the sacred 2-person Bladewind mount. Having this particular mount will definitely make you the envy of every player on the server because of its awe inspiring presence.

Trade Day Event

The Trade Day Event is a chance for players to learn how to make money while earning titles at the same time. Players can go to Officer Wang in Da Li (54, 192), Officer Zhao in Luo Yang (228, 175), or Officer Loo in Su Zhou (236, 78) to learn more about the event. Overall, it's focused on the art of buying low and selling high. The amount of times that you make these transactions will be recorded, and you will be given special titles based on how many times you perform the action. Each day you are allowed to perform a maximum of 100 transactions.
The Arena Chest Event

A designated NPC in each of the major cities (Warder Hou in Su Zhou, Hou Hsia in Luo Yang and Just Bai in Da Li) will transport your group of three or more into a Mt. Sanctity PVP arena. In this arena, you will compete in PVP with other groups for a Gorgeous Treasure Chest that contains many rare rewards. There are many standard treasure chests placed in the zone in addition to the grand prize, so everyone has a chance to get something. Also, everyone in the PVP arena will gain experience just for participating. The zone can hold up to 500 people at a time!
Bloody Soldiers Quests

The Bloody Soldiers Quest is a repeatable quest available to players at LVL 40. Find Chou Tzu in Su Zhou (266,140) and present a perfect LVL 40 weapon to him to begin the Bloody Soldiers quest. You will be required to kill a certain number of enemies based on your level. For example, if you are between LVL 40-49, you are required to defeat 1000 enemies, and if you are between LVL 50-59, you are required to defeat 1500 enemies. These enemies must be within 10 levels of your character's level in order for them to be counted. After you're done killing, you can return to Chou Tzu to claim your prize. Prizes include "Flawed Pendants", which are used to build "Artifact Weapons".

Heroic Quests

The Heroic Quests are available to all players who have reached LVL 75. Speak with Eager Li in Da Li (160,128) to receive the three Heroic Quest Lines. Each of the three lines has a different theme. The first, "Tough Expedition", is a quest line based on going to different zones and exploring specific areas. The second, "Lonely Heroes", is a quest line based on going to different zones and speaking with NPCs. The third,"Hero's Fight", is the most action-oriented of the quest lines. It's focused on killing specific enemies in certain zones. Each of the three quest lines is very lucrative in both experience and money gained. You will also be able to select from quite a few high level rewards when you finish the quests. All of the available rewards will specifically pertain to the classes in the game in order to ensure a perfect "fit".

Ice Space

The Ice Space event is something that players can take part in if they want to gain experience in a fun and relaxing environment. Warder Lin in Su Zhou (178,129) will transport you to Ice Space whenever you like, but you must first purchase a "Relic of Tumulus" (price varies with player level) from him. Once you've purchased the Relic, you can enter Ice Space. In order to gain experience here, you must study this relic for a maximum of 30 minutes per session per day. There are a few characters to keep you entertained once inside, but even if you don't engage them, you will gain experience just for being in the zone! The amount of experience that you receive is in direct proportion to your level. Keep an eye out for random chests with some extra bonuses.

Social Networking Systems

In the latest Dragon Oath patch, we are integrating a social networking system which allows players to connect with each another in a new way. In the top-left corner of your screen you will notice a button with the letter "S". This button leads you to the new social networking interface. Instead of just having player-to-player relations, players can now allow their pets to partner with each other to make the mating process even easier. In addition, the player-to-player relations are getting a huge boost! Players will now be able to create advertisements for a spouse, a master, an apprentice, guild members, or kin that list their preferences of Gender, Class, Level and many more! Other players can help improve these advertisements by voting on them! This addition will allow players to get an in-depth understanding of each another so that alliances can more easily be made in the game.
