Newbie Guide - Assassin

1.Description/Bio: The Assassins Kung Fu is so well known for its mystery that its apprentices are regarded as wraiths. Assassins are masters of the physical and ice attacks, dealing quick powerful combos, but the most terrifying skill is their ability to move unseen.
Location: Assassins Peak.
Weapon Type: Fan & Chakram.
Slogan: Men do not beat drums before hunting tigers.

Assassins have the most critical rate and accuracy among the classes. They deal physical attacks along with teleporting and turn invisible.

2.Stats and Equipments
From level 1 - 29 you won't be able to put any stat point because the system will do it for you. From 30 on you get 1 point to add for yourself. From 60 you'll get 5 point to add.

Assassins uses fan and chakram. Attack will be increased 55% if you have the buff skill later on. For upgrading the equipment you want to have physical attack , dodging + hit rate, Hp and Ice attacks. You wont be able to craft a hole in your equipment to upgrade until level 40.
For pet you want pets that have skill increasing your ice attack. At low level you should uses the turtle and later there a pet that help increase fire defense and also ice attack

I will add skill later because I dont know any of the skill name here yet.
But the game work as there are 6 skill tree each class. And there 2 more for you to find on yourself. One at level 35 and 65. You level these skill tree by using experience points ( the same one that you need to level ). So make your decision wisely. In my opinion you dont need to add any thing until level 25.


Builds:

Full Strength: Give good damage. Better if you upgrade weapons and equipment to add strength than adding them to your stat point.

Full Stamina: Mainly for PVP against other classes. When in party for boss you wont die faster.

Full Dexterity: 1 Point in Dex gives you more accuracy and dodge rate than any other classes. In pvp it will give you the advantage of 95% chance of no missing and occasionally the enemy miss you. But this build have low defenses, Average HP , not so good for big battles (pvp).

Thanks i want to share because everyone who going to start playing assassin will start to question the ability of assassin because of their weak physical attacks. But actually assassin are really good at PVP later on in the game.

curious as to why you recommend putting more points into strength than dexterity? And is dodging a part of the gameplay for assassins?

Since assassin have a boost in dodging already putting more strength is helpful because assassin have the weakest physical attack (part of it come from the weapon they use). But like i said it just depend what upgrade you put in your equipment. If the equipment have all increase physical attack then you would put more in dex. and so on.


@saypopguys: sorry lol... that the only page i can find that have picture of the weapon . You can try using google to translate it but i doubt the result is understandable.

Just remember the game may change to the point where, in this western version, this guide is either wrong or next to no hope. Or it may not change that much, then this guide would be quite helpful. Just keep it in mind :)

Yes they removed some skill when moving the chinese into vietnamese version so hope it wont happen to this version

So assassins go of strength? uncommon, normally they go off DEX for Crits+Dodging, hense why they are one of the best pker classes in game, I just don't see any advantages of them running off strength imo, but i need to look at the full skill list to think of any build for it :p.

First the best pker in the game is actually the beggars. :(
Assassins are really not what it sound to be really. I think the translation of the classes were horrible.Even if they can dodge a lot if you dont have the required strength or physical attack you wont able to deal any damg. I just go off my personal experience here. 30-60 doesnt really matter much it just after 60 that the way you upgrade your stat is based on your equipments. Plus i do recall assassins do have a buff that increase their dodging abilities and crit rate. But i will confirm all these once i get into my old account. IF you still unsure then just add 3 point into dex , 1 str , 1 stamina each level after 60.

When it comes to Crits, the more dex you have the more chance you have of pulling one of right? just so i know how this assassin works, and the more str you have the more stronger the crit will be but you want do as many...

Is there also anyway off upgrading +Crit on weapons?

Yes exactly.Str. raises your normal hit 1 point increase about 2~5 damg. which is really insignificant

Upgrading you can upgrade almost anything really. The higher the level of the stone you use to upgrade the more attribute it get. level 3 stone give you about 20 dex i think. You can put alot of strength stone and go full dex if you want lol..

Well thats it then, as far as any assassin goes, the more dex the better, with items with +STR or maybe just do a few str up when you can, the more crits you do is better then a powerful crit which may not even happen in a full battle, but with alot off dex it would happen, last game i played was Rohan, they had also assassins, and the way people would do them but be FULL Dex, because you really don't stand a chance with the amount of crits which will hit you + how hard would it be to hit the assassin, remember Crits never miss.

If this was me i would go 4+Dex, no str at all. but suppose we got we got a few testing stages before we find out :p.

Thats the question that been on my mind ever since i heard they have +Crit buff, am sure it can but all depends on hp gains every level, +def on armors and other skills which the assassin uses, sure it will be tested out soon enough.

I play assassin in the chinese server. For me the way this class PK is ambush, u get up to them w/o them knowing ur there, use all ur skills to attack, if they're not dead, go away!! and wait till all the skill r ready to use, caom back again, unless, u'r very confident that u can hold an endurance battle. hope that help, lol, have fun in the game, man I hope i have a key :(

just go full agi for assasins because from what i've observed ( assasin 37 :D) .... the skills of sin tends to miss more .... and thats why we need accuracy more than anything else, even hp .... doesnt count for stat, agi gives more points than anything else :rolleyes:.... and focusing on damage isnt necessary because assasin's skill dam is about pyro's damage (which is alot) ... so sta equipment would come after accuracy since assasin's hp is even lower than begger ... and thats a huge disadvantage when fighting more than 2 people ...


And BLACKConan, the translation isnt messed up .... assasin's strength isnt agi ... its the ability to stealth :D

P.S - big battle isnt PVP ( person vs person)

I don't agree about the point. In China,almost assassin use the points on dexterity. Yes,on the strength it can improve phy attrack, but,every point just can increse 7.6 phy attrack. But dex can debase the miss when you're attracking,and increse the miss when you're attracked. And the most important, Assassin is best at 会心。it's Chinese and I don't know how to talk it in english-_-||| it's the strongest attrack of all and its odds is incresing with the dex(about 14 dex can increse 1,lotus is about 25).
