my chain of combo
offensive mode =low def but heavy atks
uncanny atker on.......................if the opponent is a taoist or minstrel keep ruuning inthir range and out thats how i miss their tranq or that another stun buff the tranq .... wings of torus..horsey atk(idk the name:D) then relic it will stun if u lucky then abudent fairy hidden weapon...teleport to far then use the cd reset skill it uses 100% rage then go gain follow the same combo if ur atk high enough u will be able to kill ur opponet in 2 combo

negative side if u get stuned while after tranq u lose cause u won't be having another oppertunity to atk since our def so low:confused:(

u ned to be fast in order to perfom this combo


now for defensive mode
most people use this mode cause it absob most of dmg and sacrifice mp so if u wanna pvp in this mode i prefer u must have good amount of mp

first Mighty defneder ... latern ring on
same run to avoid if its a taoist or minstrel tranq...horsey....relic abudent fairy and hidden weapon..after than teleport cd reset skill again same combo then at end use bubble blockade till the time it end ur atk skill cd will be gone then all atks

negative side if u get cought ur mp will deplete and if its low u won't be able to pull this off

god thing about this u survive more and able to win with higher chance

remeber all combo u ned to be fast and avoid getting hit or stun if u r not fast don't bother taking taoist

my combo still a noob but it works for me and remeber to do use trellised trap when running to slow opponent down:D

Don't forget about our lock skill: Bubble Blockade, use it when u see assassin's epic warfare, pyro with fire master on and running to u(if u don't have any stun skill left), minstrel 2x on u...... It's also useful in pvp if u know when to use it. :D

When I used Taoist, I usually follow this pattern when choosing to be offensive or defensive

Offensive: I usually use this when I am sure that with the Wing buff, I can take out the opponent in 2 combo (with instant cd) :
- 1vs1 Royalty. lv 65+ Minstrel. In war when your side is winning. When you ambush/snipe/hunt someone

Defensive: Keep in mind that you can always turn off your mana shield anytime you wish. For me I usually turn it off when : my mana is under 25% while my HP is over 70% :
-1vs1 with anyclass except listed in Offensive. In war when your side is losing

Another suggestion is that don't overuse Bubble Blockade, It cost HP to do so. And when fighting against someone that both use pet < Make sure that you use primary hidden skill right before Bubble Blockade. Doing that will stop their pet from attack you and letting your pet attacking them instead.

There's alot more strategy to taoist as to anything goes.

Look like u r afraid of royalty lol...
Go offensive with them...Spam as many damage skills as u can while ur wing of torus is on(especially if u can make 2 growing flame :D)

Royalty pretty much is anti-taoist -.- they suck mana, have lighting resistance -> 2 thing that define Taoist

That's a big problem if u have low mp, so work more on ur mp .:D
And yeah royalties are born to kill tao, but they will find difficulties when they pk a tao with great chain of combos and fast hand.:cool:

well u can go for ice atks if they hve thudner resistence and ur defensive buff skill gvs u mp regeneration chance on ur atk so not always 0 mp

lol mighty defender thant have 21% of restoring 55 mp won't help, because 1 skill already cost 250mp or more.
actually i've never used mighty defender when pvp with royalty.

did u even read it.it gives 55 mp each time u atk or has some chance anyway.some people continously get mp after mp 55 each atk and then uses skill when enough mp.while offensive buff only gives u crits

I am a tao. And i know that i won't survive if i wait to restore my mp....
A tao with a few mp is just a dead tao.

well the percentage increaces as u lvl it but it also effects luck.cause i get the 55 mp everytime i atk,i got a tao as well.nob tao:D

i usually do is inc agi and instel not mp cause i prefer stunning important in pvp
i do have some will gems but i usually put hit and spi gem
for roaylty i use uncanny atker and spam my combo over them but at last alwys use bubble blocade then tele far use skill reset and come again for same combo this usally letf tthem with 45%hp then i just use my hidden weapom which deals dmg per time and thats how i kill royalty but in between if they caught me i die:D
