Good to see people finally setting up shops on the exchange server. I just found out that there is no peddling fee there. This means I can set up shop and move and run about. There is a warehouse there as well. This is good for people with alts and stuff.
With the way the exchange server is set out it would make it a lot easier to search for stuff too. Just move to the relevant spot and use the search button.
I strongly encourage more people to do their peddling there.
As I type this there are 4 stalls including my own just in front of the exp bonus dude. I hope that when people see stalls when they collect their exp pills it encourages them to set up stuff here.
We get to buy stuff from both servers then :)
See you all on the exchange server. PS if you have spare Little Trumpets and such, it would be good to advertise on your respective servers to set stalls on the exchange server. CLEAR UP THE CLUTTER IN THE CITIES!!

As will I!
I think the biggest deterrent to people using it was that it was empty. The more people who are there, the more likely others will be to actually use it.

As long as the BUYERS know it's there.
One nice thing about the Serene City market madness is that all of the new players see it right away.
Educating new players on how to use the Trade server will be enough of a hurdle, I think, that Serene City will always have plenty of shops set up.
That being said, I look forward to more people using the Trade server since it will give you cross-server availability. So lots of shops in a central location. Gonna be great!

I'm set up there, traffic is slow, but there is some. If most people get the free jade, they'll see the shops :)

every 24 hrs you get a free 200% exp jade from a npc named Grandpa Luck at the Bazaar in the middle at the foot of the stairs.
i checked the stalls earlier and the only thing i was interested in was the green 40 weapons someone had but i needed to save gold to help establish a guild.

thanx for checking us out. Point is not what I have or the others that are there now have to sell. Point is to encourage everyone else to set up their stalls there so that it will be a lot easier for everyone that plays to game to buy and sell stuff. Its cross server, and would help uniform and control the economy, more choice and more people to buy stuff.

We need to come up with something to get people into the exchange server; anything an special event or something to get more traffic flowing into the exchange server.
I've been there all day... Literaly and only sold 1 thing........:(

Maybe adding a special limited time boss fight there or something like the Golden Tree event in guild where once a day you go into the exchange server and dance around the bazzar to some crazy music. lol just a thought, something a player of any level can do.

Tis is a very good idea. And a Golden tree on exchange (i.e.: something you just have to beat up, and does not fight back) would be excellent too, maybe with random rewards (random chests spawning would only lead to bickering) if you simply attack it.
Or maybe some scattered level 1 mobs (scattered so classes with aoes does not have an unfair advantage) with very fast respawn rate and low probability of a good drop (and maybe assured drop of, say, 10 copper, so even very low levels can regain the gate tax easily).
edit: maybe make it so that the mons are the lvl 1 version of archetype pets, not tamable and with just 1 hp, but they have 0.1% probability of dropping an actual archetype pet egg. Maybe even "bigger" versions that drop mounts, with the same low probability.
And to add some more interest for guys wh are already set with pets/mounts an equal low chance of dropping paintings (those are always useful, and always sell well)

I think the golden tree idea is good but mobs not so good, yeah it would be fun, but drops could cause problems too :S, anyway i think just maybe each time you hit the tree you get a certain ammount of experience and money, maybe if it is wanted and worked out enough, the chance or definite probability of an item.

So when peddling - setting up a shack - it seems I need to stay there & watch it. I want to play Zentia, I don't want to watch my peddling shack.
I there a way to sell my stuff & also have fun playing the game? - Can a pet look after the store while you're off adventuring? Or something like that? - I know there is not an auction house yet.
Thanks in advance :)

You can create another account, and use that for peddling when you're playing Zentia :)

Indeed, do this thing. It will save your sanity and bring you cash. ^_^

hum actual trade on the exchange servers? does this mean that the travel fees no longer apply? i did open a stand there once until i figured out that the 'free' exchange server is actually more expensive than opening a stand in a city because of these fees

It only costs 50c to travel to the exchange server, and no fee to go back to your own server. Not sure how that's more expensive than opening a stand in the city, unless you're selling a few inexpensive items. :p

how should i know what's considered expensive or inexpensive? i've only played this game a few days and that was weeks ago and if i remember correctly i payed 24 for my stand, in any case it was less than the portal fee or whatever :D
i also had the impression that others overpriced their stuff too much ... especially after i checked the npc vendors for their buying and selling prices but maybe i'm just too honest when it comes to trading ;)

As you level, you'll be selling items worth more money, and you'll find it's quite a bit cheaper to sell in the exchange server.
There are people that overprice items, as well as people that have "fair" prices. Just need to shop around, and weed out those greedy players :p

The new Spoon server is dead. 2 stalls in Exchange, and 2 stalls in Serene City. Either nobody's using this server, or they're selling things somewhere else. You definitely need a bigger draw to get people to the Exchange server. Maybe the original daily experience jade from Grandpa Luck ...
