View Full Version : Torn between RW and VG.

Tried both classes and like them both, slightly leaning towards the RW cos of higher dmg and faster lvling. I do like that charge thing that VGs have though. Just a little worried that RWs will get passed over for a VG on instances and stuff since they the "real tankers".
What do you guys think?

RW still tanks well and can be tanks for instances and whatnot. I've played both classes alot and you'll still be able to tank with RW. It's just VG is tankier--yes, "tankier".

RW is probably the most popular class atm due to their "tankiness" and quite good damage

Yeah, VG used to be more common in CB but now, they seem pretty rare compared to RW.

All then i should respec him becuase i put all my points into Stam, When i should have put them in Def, Huh?

If you look at the rankings, it's pretty evenly split between Stam and Def. Put points into one area, and get equipment to boost where you feel weak.

RW's are too popular, makes me want to change class. But....I like it too much :( lol

What I meant by my comment was that character stats matter little compared to equips, mounts, and pets. At least that's what I think.
For VG, I think it fairs well enough with defense and vigor that you should focus on STA over PHY. Like FeralGirl said, if you feel lacking in defense or something, supplement it by enchanting your gear or learning specific passive skills on mounts and pets.
