Fansite Kit

Hey guys,

we already put together a Fansite Kit but I want to make sure it is perfect before giving it out so....

A) What do YOU want to see in a kit like this?
B) What rewards do you think Fansite owners should receive?
C) Would you be interested?

Thanks for answering :D The likely rewards will be first dibs on new news, and a section in the forums that only Fansite creators could see. I am still open to ideas!

A) I want to see some raw data (like, avaiable recipes with cost, skill breakdown (e.g.: dot damage), and so on)... but that's just because I'll ask one for the wiki :p
For a more "normal" fansite, I'd say some nifty images (with transparent background please), and... well, dunno actually, guess more datas whould be nice for a more "normal" fansite too.
B) candy. or alchool. or both
C) yes, give me stuff for the wiki nao :D

A) What do YOU want to see in a kit like this?
havent seen many fansite kits... but it should definitely include pictures and icons to use. like all the classes/talismans/mounts(the more common ones)/skills. Make the fansite kit owner write all the details and gather all the data so each fansite can be unique. o and the official zentia banner :)
B) What rewards do you think Fansite owners should receive?
fansite spotlight on frontpage and/or forums and maybe mounts/pets for the fansite owner to give out to their fans.
C) Would you be interested?
i am 99% sure that i wont be using it. would rather play zentia than build fansites.

A) The essentials. Icons of all the skills, both life and class skills as well as debuff/status effect icons, I find these so important when trying to explain to people how to recognize a status effect but have no image of it and end up having to give some sort of bad description that doesn't really help. As well as class talismans, general character pictures, banners, and other various small things to use as a sort of decor on fan sites. There is probably other things but don't recall right now.
B) Of course site recognition and prizes to help aid in any site contests to give away to others to show just a bit of support. As for the fansite creator(s), I do think they should get some kind of special, in game decorative item that is fansite owner only. What that is, I'm not sure but should reflect on the creative aspect and knowledge a fansite owner displays when they create a site. Don't really think they should get something that would give them an advantage over others, or everyone will make a fansite just for the item.
C) Never made a fan site before but may consider it this time around. I do like the game a lot.

Nice cut out images of different characters
Backgrounds
Images with transparent backgrounds
Zentia logo transparent background
Borders


B. Rewards
I think advertisment of their site, like maybe "Fansite of the Month" I think if there were ingame rewards, people would throw something together with no follow through just for the reward.

C. Would I be interested?
No. Doubt I'd visit a fan site too much. I usually like spending time on the main forums where I know the "powers that be" will provide accurate information.

I am working on the Fansite kit program. So far the information from everyone is really helping. I am thinking of making two levels of Fansites. The Elite level will receive more support but will also have to prove their worth so they can't just make the site and abandon it once they receive a cool goodie . So far I have:

Benefits Include:
• A link on our Fansite Roster
• Inclusion on our email list, through which we will send Press Releases, News, and announcements about Zentia.
• Spotlight Features on Zentiathegame.com
• Use of the Fansite Kit and email notification when we add to it.
• Occasional unique Fansite only Material

Elite:
*Contest and interview support may be available in the future.

I have done several fansite blogs, but for Zentia, I'd like to do one "Revenant Specific", but I'm not sure if there would be enough resources for it, since general data is kinda scarce.
