One of my quests is to kill a ghost in orchard path of pond city. No where do I find on the map this place or can autopath to it either.

The place is called Orchid Path and it is the area where you first enter into Pond region.

Orchid Path is in the Serene City map. Open you map, then for District, click on Serene City. You should see it in the North part of the map.
