There is a huge difference between the two. That guy above is wrong. One of the differences is that the behavior tends to be different on average. The second, and most important, is that the fire rat has low agility and the mouse has high agility talent. That is important if you plan on making a solo pet with deflecting behavior. The lower the agility, the more your pet will be hit. Therefore a rat is more desirable because of that fact if you use counterattack, reflection, and/or flexibility.

As I said before in another thread, it's best to ask an Oath Keeper or moderator about these things because normal players have a tendency to give misleading information.

Fire rats are more rare which is another difference between the two. You will just have to sit tight until one spawns. It's a lot less arduous to just purchase one from another player than wait for one. Waiting can take hours if not days to do.

fire rats r good way 2 get gold by selling wild fire rats or young rats:)
