View Full Version : List of Suggestions for Beta

I know a lot of these have already been suggested, but I figure they are worth another mention.

Chat Window:

As people have mentioned before, adding a way to adjust the transparency of the chat window would be a good idea. In the current form, it is often difficult to read the chat depending on the terrain behind the window.

The addition of "/" commands to switch chat channels would also be nice (i.e. /t or /team for team chat). Maybe there is already functionality for this that I just don't know about though.

The interval between messages for team chat should be removed. I know it is short but I often end up getting the message that I've sent something too fast when having conversations and typing something quickly. The interval function is good for other channels, but I don't think it's that necessary for team chat.

Nameplates:

Adding nameplates that can be toggled on and off would be helpful. Currently, clumped up mobs can be annoying to target; yes, you can always tab target through them, but for certain things like a timed stun or other form of CC or just trying to focus down the mob with the lowest HP, nameplates would be particularly helpful.

Titles:

I like that you are able to check where titles are from via the title book, but adding a way to track the progress of titles in your title book would be a nice addition. I know this can sort of be done by looking at your own lore tab, but it would be nice to have both in one place.

Gift Items:

The gift items are very nice to have, but the one annoying thing is that the items (such as potions) that you receive from the gift packages do not stack with other potions. With the limited amount of inventory, especially in early game, it would be nice to see these items stack.

Regen:

Adding some sort of "Rest" skill to all classes that could be trainable (for a fee) after leaving Mulberry. The skill could just simply sit your character down when out of combat and increase regen rates of mana or health for casters or fighters, respectively. This would be a good way to have more options for grinding efficiency while reducing the need for out of combat potion use.

Controls:

Mouse turning, as has been mentioned before, would be a nice addition. I personally don't have much of a problem with the current way movement works, but for others who will be newly joining the game in Open Beta, familiar controls for movement would probably be a nice welcome.

This is more of a bug than anything else, but I will post it here while I'm at it: the binds for marking targets (i.e. 0-9 marks above their heads) do not seem to be working. I tried rebinding them, but to no avail.

Clan Storage:

I'm guessing this is something that exists later in the game once you have established a guild, but having some sort of clan warehouse available for purchase would be nice. Since this game is very reliant on teamwork for crafting and other endeavors, being able to have a communal storage place would be good.
