Advice on capturing pets

I have a hedgehog, but I really want a better, a cooler and stronger pet. Any advice anyone? Thanks!:D

there are lots of pets on pet island. All sorts of creatures that will help you in a variety of different ways. Take a trip there from Luo Yang to check out all the cool kinds you can capture. Just watch out for the Guardian or Invincible Cat!

Hey, don't give Invincible Cat a bad rep. He only attacks if you attack him first.:D

@ Gadzooks: not really, he will attack you if he sees you or you go into his attack range no matter what. One time I went to capture a mantis and I got killed by that big cat just by walking near him. He's so mean !! T___T

The cat is nice :( He never kills me when I walk next to him :D ( Although he usually kills me when I try, and fail, to kill him.)

Where exactly do you go to get to "Pet Island". You say "Take a trip there from Luo Yang.." but can you please give a little more directions? Also it would be nice if there were a Pet Guide with maybe some reccomendations for what pets and where to catch them.

I was reading for my assassin I should have a tiger or a boar from the class guide, but I don't know where to catch one at. Do you have to catch them at Pet Island or can any animal be caught?

To reach Pet Island, go to Lou Yang and in the map look for "Pets". There is an NPC there who has Pet Island wriiten over her head. Talk to her to get teleported to Pet Island.

I would also like to see a pet guide up here pretty soon. There are many kinds of pets and I have no clue about their stats and skills and stuff. So yeah, a guide would be nice.

As for Tiger pet, I read somewhere that you cannot get it till you reach 45.

Basically you go to Pet Island from NPC Cherry Yun in Lou Yang. She has an option to transport you directly to the island.

Once you reach the island you attack an animal and it will either die or the name will turn White and your "pointer" will look like a dog collar. This is now a critter you can tame.

Make sure you have a pet 'space' available first or you can't take this tamed animal as a pet.

I was lucky one time and got a crow/raven. These are "safe" for low level players as they don't attack you until you attack them and they are the only animals in that area.

I have Nevermore as my pet now :p

I have tried Pet Island a gazillion times and Always get killed! I wanted a second pet - stronger pet - higher level pet .... etc

Last time I was attacked by a hoard of lvl 25's (my character was lvl 18) and while trying to run away 'we' ran right into the Guardian!

I would LOVE a map of the island and where you can tame the different critters! Also that guide/List would be Awesome!!! I am confussed on the raising of stats and what skills to add to the different types of pets.

well if u go deeper beyond the lvl 25 pets /untamable rodents xD

u can find the mantis on the sand y beach on the left of of the map on theright there are bats wolfs if u go father there are osterich , eagle ,polarbar , speckedled panthers wart hog ,tiger, some sorta worm looking one.Squreels, rabbits, parot on main island, turtles, monkey, tiger,and more i didnt mak e to far lol .(guardian got me )

Remember as you look for higher lvl pet the odds of running into 2 or more ~evil~ guardians are higher


i my self an lvl 32assasian tried to get a n eagle lvl 55 >ol but couldnt capture cause of lvl i was so bumbed lol its was there flying around and i couldnt catch ....anay way i warn u dont gp after polar bear they hard to kill lol



oh and if u get on mount guardian cant kill u xD

haha think ill make a guide later lol i need another pet o.O


oh and looking for female to breed with my lvl 36 male squirrel >.<
