Press Closed Beta Keys

Unfortunately, I have both good and bad news for everyone. We will get the bad news out of the way first. The Zentia closed beta is going to be initially released as a press beta beginning July 8th. The good news is, since I want to keep the loyal Zentia fans happy and I firmly believe you guys should get a chance at the press beta, there will be a way for you to score a key for this first beta phase. To do so, be sure to check back on the forums on Tuesday. For those of you not lucky enough to get in on this first round, do not worry! The closed beta will be accessible to the community one week later on July 15th. I apologize for this change of plans, but hopefully we will still be seeing many of you throughout the beta duration.

If you miss your chance at the press beta keys, the keys for the public will be released on July 15th. However, I wouldn't worry about it. There should be ample opportunities to get into the press beta.

This basically means the press are initially supposed to be the ones testing the game. So press will be able to hop on the servers, but the keys will be restricted to just them for the first week. HOWEVER, I will be releasing keys because in my opinion fans CAN be press. Press just presents news to the public and I believe fans can do that just as well. I am going to steal a few keys for you guys, but they will be limited. I wouldn't worry to much about it, just check back Tuesday and I will have more info :D

How many people acually actively talk on here? I'm sure we'll manage to swipe one. :p So the beta won't properly start until the 15th then? I actually think restricting the amount of players for the first week is a good idea. It won't be too laggy for the players who manage to get on.
