05/27 - The Amazing Race Returns!

This Thursday, May 27th, we are bringing back a player favorite - the Amazing Race!

Here's how it works. Players may work together in teams of up to three. Starting from the first station (the stations will be manned by either me or one of the OathKeepers) players will be given a clue to find the next station, and a code word to use once they get there. The stations must be passed in the correct order. The fastest three players to make it through the entire race will win a Brie-gadier Pet egg! This cute Physical Attack pet can be summoned at any Level from 5-85 (the appropriate level pet will be given to each winner.)

The first station will be me, and I'll be standing in front of the Stage in Su Zhou starting at 4 p.m. PST/Server Time. Whisper "Amazing Race!" to me, and I'll whisper back the clue for the second location, plus the code word to whisper to the OathKeeper you will find there! Once our three winners have reached the final station, we will announce them in-game.

The fastest 3 players through the Race will win, so if a team of 3 are the first to the finish line, that team will win.

If we have two individuals or a team of two who finish, and then a team of three, up to five players can actually get the pets (the team of three would be considered "tied for third.")

Alruna's team and xShaden's team both found our final OathKeeper, Ace99, at the same time. So for this Race, we have five winners instead of three!

I had thought that I would be staying alone for quite a while at the final stop yesterday. But I was wrong, I was kept busy by replying "sorry, that's not the code for me" to the players running by me with all kinds of codes, "DOLL","WINE","IVORY"...

Congrats to Alruna and xShaden. They got to me at the same time. Sorry that I wasn't able to reply to other players one by one after I got the correct code from Alruna and xShaden. My message box was flooded by all the players whispering to me at that time. It was an exciting moment.
