A Quick "Hello!"

Hey all, just a quick "Hello!" A small bit about myself, I have been playing video games for almost 30 years, enjoy RPGs, but stopped playing the turn based kind in the mid-90s; I like all sorts of games but not sports -- I don't even watch those on TV.

Okay, this is really weird, I just received notice of your post this morning at 2:41AM, although the email is dated June 17, 2009. I even got my welcome email at 1:55AM yet it's also dated June 17, 2009. I got the "Happy Birthday" email 1:54AM, and it was sent on my birthday, August 11, 2009; they really need to check what's going on with their mail server.

I wonder when I'll get sent an email notice of the two posts after yours.

Okay, this is really weird, I just received notice of your post this morning at 2:41AM, although the email is dated June 17, 2009. I even got my welcome email at 1:55AM yet it's also dated June 17, 2009. have you got the ones yet asking why you have not played, and the reasons why you do not log in the game any more ?
I got a few of those I was like What The ???, figured it had to be a mistake somewhere , because I log in every day and at least once on each account. I did try the one link and it took me here (forums) like it was supposed to. If it took me to a login page then a flag would have went up, that I was being scammed for my account info., but it didn't, nor did I try the other links, the URL's all look to be correct, and not bogus.

I never even got a notice of all the postings after mine that I made in November, nor did I get an email asking why I haven't logged in, etc. The only reason why I am here today, is because I got one of those spam emails telling me they detected a virus on my computer, click this link, yeah like that's going to happen; it's now the 3rd board I've gotten that message on.

That doesn't tell me anything I don't know, I've gotten 3 of them from 3 different boards, I am not some n00b who'll willy-nilly click on a URL.

It's no trouble, however, your forum needs work with notifications, I didn't even get one after you posted, but I did get a notification after Krissy posted. So, the system is working, but not at 100%.
