Please add your advices to this thread. It is by no means comprehensive and is based on personal experiences only.

The strategy for a Shaolin defeating a Lotus Order is based on the general principle for most Shaolin engagements. You must be the unbreakable wall.

Lotus Order has: short-term invisibility, fear, heals, range, and damage enhancing debuff.

Remember that no matter what the Lotus Order player does, you must not panic. Shaolin has highest HP of all classes and this particular chickadee will not burst you to death in under 11 seconds.

Step 1: They will curse you, fear you, and they will panic if you hit them at all. The first thing needed to do is to show off how much more HP you actually have by smacking them with attack skill. Keep rage to dispel blindness, but any attack should immediately put you ahead in the hp race.

Step 2: The next step is to trap them. Slowing them and immobilizing them will allow you to keep them close at hand for melee combat. You would be wise to save these skills for AFTER they blow the runner cooldowns (invis and fear).

Step 3: Monumental hp and effective cooldown for cooldown matching should make it apparent that if they want to win, its not going to be standing next to you and your physical attack. When they run, remember that you have slow, immobilize and Wind Walk.

Step 4: When they are at the point where YOU would worry that they are going to try to vaporize, lotus finger to prevent a last second fear or really lucky heal. Remember that you don't need alot of MP to beat a lotus, Shaolin isn't known for using attack skills anyhow. Just use them to maintain control of the situation and then burst them at the end when they are near helpless.

If things get sticky, remember that your HP is supposed to be sucking up their MP and because they are not Taoist or Pyro (or Minstrel), plugging away is the way to go.

As always, in PVP you have to think about what you would do in the other player's situation. A Lotus soloing a melee boss knows that the best thing to do is to kite, curse, and damage from far away. Shaolin's are basically bosses given the amount of HP we have. Lotus does not win against melee most of the time if they cannot kite the melee. Keep this in mind and don't get kited.

Don't underestimate Lotus Order. Did you try to kill a lv 70 lotus who have relic ? U'll see how a shaolin die when they see a pro lotus. Their lv 45 and 65 skill are terrible.

No idea. This guide is really not a definitive guide, but the basics of: "don't get yourself kited" and "use your superior ability to absorb mountains of damage" are pretty solid.

I did notice, however, that this guide has one or two factual errors (which don't necessarily change the strategy) and I hereby renege any statements made therein until more information can be gathered.

Shaolin pvp Minstrels... just nothing to do thts it we got 1 of 1000 chances to beat them... Lotus they currently hard to beat no wonder with theyre 45 book they will be unbeatable instant cast healin... whoever developers dont caring about shaolin class we just a big mass of hp for being hit our best pvp skils got long cooldown or last really few or both... cmon developers add on some modification on shaolin skils

well, shaolin lvl 45 book is nothing but super idiotic but sholin lvl 65 books is also terrible my frnd. u will attck the shaolin and attck the shaolin but u will decrease very little of its hp. (eg, in twin island, 1 shaolin used this limitbreak and stood in frnt of a lotus and taoist and ministrel attck only to mock them. he even did not attck them. After 9 to 10 heats (his hp lost is still less than 1000 i think, and then he went back and agin came back and mocked them. After this i went to do q123 and dont underestimate shaolin's lotus finger and direct hit skills

Ok! Lets see it, if you have a 7x lotus lets battle, i will show to you what the "pro" lotus do when get low hp! He run and heal. This is the only way to kill a shaolin, healing.

Strategy for defeating Lotus Shaolin order is based on the general principle of most of the commitments Shaolin. You must have a solid wall.Lotus order is: short-term invisibility, fear, injury to improve national, regional and improving debuff. When search for items, you just raise them the strength and stamina and endurance is a higher priority.

For beating a lotus you just must accomplish just a few steps, specially when they get skill 45

1. You must deal them a huge damage:

What its a bit hard for shaolin class, not having good cri hit/hit rate and even so shaolin gets same phy attk per 1 str point as all others 3 classes except pyro of course, shaolin gets less phy attk per level, anyways hard but not impossible

2. You must keep hitting em avoid they can heal, reduce their healing as much as you can

Something certainly hard to do when they get their skill 45, but not that hard at all on DO2 when there are a few more class skills or kinda that can seal/stun etc etc

Thats all just 2 steps :D
