I read the other post. people said that voodoo spends alot of money.. can someone tell me why?

I'm not a voodoo player but I'm going to assume its because voodoo need poison items (like Ants) and unless you want to spend hours farming, you will probably be buying a good deal of them or having your guild forward them to you.

I think because when you start a voodoo character you need some golds to buy HP and MP. one of voodoo skills, Uncanny Attack from the first book of class skill does need a large amount of MP, and this skill is very necessary in training. when you are at low level you can just earn some golds from some map quests, and most of these golds will be used to buy HP and MP. You will feel like you have used up all golds for HP and MP. However, it is different once you level up your character to 45 (you can go trading early at level 40). At this level you can go trading in guild to earn more golds. Then you can max out the 5th class skill book. One skill in this book, Immolate, will allow you to make some MP available for your skills by reducing some HP. If you go training with a Lotus order character, you don't have to worry about buy HP and MP any more.
If you want to make your character become stronger (for PK planning), you need more and more golds to buy gems and socketing items. Voodoo has longer delay skills than other classes, so depending on what you choose, making yourself strong attack to end up enemy quickly, or strong defend and high HP to stand long enough to kill enemy. Or you can use all type of gems if you have enough golds :).
