im not sure..but i think bunny needs lvl 5 as well..its the "first bunny" nd duckling which only needs lvl 1..(not very sure...gotta check when OB starts)

Lol! I know I can't seem to remember the levels of the lowest pets x.X I never paid that much attention :P But as soon as I log in I'll update it to the correct levels :)

Also, with like the dinosaur.. i can't remember it's name, however if you're on pet island, look at the Auto Path monster list... you might find the names of your unknown pets.

I dont think alot of them are listed. I've checked before. However they should all be released after Open Beta so when that starts I'll update :)

im *very* new to this game, and find the pet catching system rather confusing. on the start page sidebar, i saw something about 'thousands of pets' but the above list seems to mention only a bare handful. whats the story on this? i gather this is why i havent been able to catch anything while out hunting...i wanted to catch one of the panthers, but could never get the attack turned off/catch skill on and focused on what i wanted.

how and where are all the players finding all the pets?:confused:

Catchable Pets are found on Pet Island.....Pet Island is reached by talking to Cherry Yun in Lou Yang...

You kill the mobs, Killing the mobs spawns Wild, Young, and Rare pets. Wild ones will spawn the most, Young ones next and then finally Rare ones which are exactly what they sound like...rare.

I suggest catching a good young pet, leveling it up to 30 and breeding it with another players pet, BECAUSE when you breed, the "2nd Generation" pet that you recieve is a rare pet, usually with better stats than the young pets you catch on pet island. I believe there is a breeding guide on these forums. Good Luck and hope this helps

Just make sure you return to Pet Island often. There's tons of pets and always opportunities for new and rare ones. And choosing ones to compliment your character or someone you'd like to PK against is always nice.

how do i get out there? i tried yesterday, but only got to the city nearest it. how do i cross the ocean...is there a ferry service or is pet island an event?

Teleport to Luo Yang, talk to Cherry Yun (use the auto path to find her or press tab and click on the pet label on the map)

She will transport you there :)

when or if someone wants to breed a pet, do they (the pets) have to be the same, like dog can only breed with dog, or can someone breed a something like a Bunny with a Bat?
if that is possible, to breed with other types, is it restricted to Herbivores can breed with Herbivores, and Carnivores with Carnivores types ?

sure it would be kewl to breed a bunny with a Croc, but I would think a croc would more likely eat the bunny then Pro-create with it :p

But some of the Pets look like or could be Omnivores, so would they be able to go either way ?

I ask this because I do not know what pets are Herb/Carn/Omnivores, and if that matters or not

Nope sorry lol; only pets of the same species can breed. On top of that, only Young pets can breed, not rare or wild.

curious to know, are certain pets Magic based and others Physical based ?
if so maybe you could place like a (M) for magic and (P) for pets that are like that

another suggestion I was thinking was color to indicate if they are Herbivores or Carnivores, or Insect

Yes some are physical and some are magical.

I like the idea of color coding them based on food or type. Zether just said to me the other day "Let's just make this pokemon." Sometimes I wonder...

right on , , but I am a little confused about the croc, I would have thought even without looking that the Croc was a (P), but in game it has the Croc (S).
could be a typo in the Game ?

Honestly I think it is the game is wrong, but I could be wrong, one reason I think the game is wrong is because wild or young, the croc has more points into Phy Atk then Spi Atk. ( when you first catch one), but then again that may not mean anything.
And the attacks do not look like they are Spi Atk either, they look more phy. Atk. to me.
Just I am hesitant to add more to Phy Atk if the croc really is Spi Atk. figured a couple points in either right now wont hurt too much, but here take a look

well, since that last post I really never added any Str or Int, just Sta and some Agi. I only add Agi, when I find the Croc is not doing it's tanking job, seems adding Agi helped more then when I added Str & Int.

Still having a problem accepting the Croc as spiritual , but got to thinking maybe it is like Royalty

yeah another bump, trying to make it into a productive bump

had some fun with the croc pet, when picking herbs in South Yan, I'll start the fight with a mob, then go to picking herbs, by the time I am done, the croc has almost finished mob.

Also, are we going to be listing event pets in this thread, aka turkeys? If we make it comprehensive we can use it as reference for the wiki and also get a sticky.

I'm a bit confused here. a beat and caught a wolf the other day which, as you said is a lvl 5 requirement pet. i'm now level 14 but when i summon the wolf it says level not high enough? what gives?

if the wolf is higher than your level then you cannot summon it

syre i think u mean abv 8 lvls thn u.since the charecter is lv14 nd the wild wolf r normally lv25,the lvl difference is 11.if the lvl or u pet is within 8 lvls higher of urs,thn u can summon it right.

so yeah.

try catch the young one not the wild one, ur problem is solved

It is also better to catch a young cause then you can breed it at lvl 30 to get a better one. But i wont waste much time on breeding pets till you get to 45 and up
