I have a turtle on my LO, and I was wondering if I should go full stam, or add str (to make up for LO's low damage).
Devotion is a decent skill, but it has a long cooldown, so not sure if it's worth making the turtle a tanker just for that. I know there's a skill that raises def, but I don't think it's based off pet stats.
I'm considering moving it to one of my nukers because I think anything other than full stam is a waste on a turtle.

ya a turtle isn't much of an attacker so I would agree that anything but full stam is kinda pointless. Not really a good pet for a LO

agreed. pets take aggro by outdamaging you so full stam would be pointless. with pets it best to just go full int on spirit pets, and full str on physical pets. I never kept one of the middle ones.

I had a turtle on my pyromancer, and could never keep the turtle from pulling aggro, even though I was doing 10-15x the damage. Granted, low level, but still, he would hit first (He is ranged, I'm not) and they'd never get off him.
To contrast, my Taoist has a turtle (I was hoping to have a tank for the low defense class) but my Taoist always attacks first, because it is also ranged, and so the turtle never gets aggro. I think the aggro table is significantly based on who hits it first, although I've been able to manipulate aggro on rare occasions, it just doesn't seem to be a pure damage dealt aggro table.
turtle is a defensive pet.... if ur a pyro, it is the best if you use Mantis, and then Tiger at later level

Can't seem to get a Mantis, for one thing, though, second my turtle is now in my Taoist's hands.
I'm wondering if you can mail pets.
