Picture capture has been used in the past for events and we're to announce that we're soon going to integrate video capture into events for big prizes!
The following is a very simple breakdown of how to capture images and video in Dragon Oath. Enjoy!:D
Capturing Pictures and Video Footage
Capturing Pictures
While playing Dragon Oath, you’re able to take pictures of what’s happening in the game by using the “print screen” key on your computer.

Using this function will create a .jpg image and insert it into the “ScreenShots” directory in your Dragon Oath folder.

The images themselves will be labeled according to the date they were taken for easy sorting.
Capturing Video
There’s a free program online called Fraps (www.fraps.com) that allows you to record video of the video games that you’re playing. When you have the Fraps application installed and running, you’ll be given a number of options regarding basic operation. Some of these options include whether or not you’d like Fraps to be minimized or on top of other applications as well as, whether or not you’d like Fraps to record the audio as well as the video from your game. Once you’re ready to capture video with Fraps, select the “Movies” tab.

From this tab, you’ll be able to choose which folder that your videos will be stored in as well as what frame rate you’d like to record your videos at. Once you have the program configured to your needs, you can launch your game with Fraps running in the background. When in game, if you’d like to start recording, all you have to do is press the F9 key. When you want to stop recording, press the F9 key again and the video will automatically be saved into the directory that you chose.
