So I'm looking around for a new mmorpg but I have dial up and it's not broadband because I live in a rural area. I've been able to play games in the past like FFXI but others don't work with a slow connection, or effect others playing. I'd like to check this game out but I'd like to know if anyone has any experience in this game with a bad connection.

like anything online it has its lag moments but because it does not demand alot of information from the server, it shouldn't be that bad.

If you live in a rural area there are options for you. Most rural areas now do offer some sort of fibre, cable, satellite or RF frequency look into them and join the world.

The lag shouldn't be an issue at all even with dial up. I'd say give it a try and see how it handles and update here on wether it does well or not. *Has a few friends that might play if they know it can handle dial up*

Nope, no wireless, no cable lines because its a private road. Satellite is way more expensive in this area. Even the phone lines are so old they don't support a full 58k or broadband. Wasn't so bad 15 years ago but yeah I've about had enough of it. Like I said it doesn't effect some games, like loading a zone is a little slow, but anyone out there take part in testing? If I'm too slow for direct pvp action then I don't want to get my hopes up heh.
