Noob Pyromancer with questions?

Well i had alot of questions when i hit 20, and noticed that some of you had the same ones. Here are some of those answers: (sry at work no pics)

1. The first pyro quest with the torch
~For me (it for some reason didnt work for this other guy) I took the torch in the pyro area to the bottom left (metal area) torch..got up right next to it and went to my invetory>>>quest tab>>and right click the torch. Now, I am not sure if you need the fire gatherer skill (which you get from guy #2 dubbed fire gather trainer at the top next to the skill trainer, but if it doesnt get it and try it again.

2. The fire gatherer skill
~Their are 2 skills you can get from the dudes up at the top. Each one helps with your skills. THe higher the level, the higher the benifit. THe Fire Gatherer skill reduces the amount of rage and vitality for your HIGHER level spells (in the other books just read the skills and you can tell which uses vitality, etc...)
~To level this get some silver/xp and goto the fire gatherer and hit the option to upgrade the skill, there you can add levels (im now lvl 7)

3. USE A FALCHION OR A SPEAR!!!!!!!
~Yes you can use any weapon in the game BUT you are built for two handed spears. If you look at your skills (the passive one) you'll notice that it says bonus for Falchion and Spears.

4. Skills
~ Their is one skill endless palm that MUST be on your toolbar for it to work. It works automatically you dont have to activate it.




HOPE this helps clear up anything...ill try to update it as i run into more questions...post if you got them and ill TRY to answer them (im pretty new too but learning quick!!)

I'd just like to provide some additional information for you.

On the torch quest:
When I first got this quest I was really annoyed. None of the areas on the map really match the "color" of the flag that the NPC directs you to.
However *ding, ding, ding* there is a very fast way to do this. Once you've accepted the quest DO NOTHING - CLICK NOTHING. Hit TAB immediately and look at your mini map.
When you do this, you'll be able to see the correct flag highlighted with the blinking circle icon. Zoom over to it, use the flag - all done :)

This little tip has saved me a lot of time with this class quest. Hopefully, it will help out other players, too <3

I also wanted to add that there is a Pyromancer leap (which replaces the beginer leap) found in the Pyromancer hq for free ( i think he was up by the thron) pick it up its pretty cool

hi ima noob here on the same quest and yeah im still stuck on it. ive been to the metal area and looked around to use it and i still cant use it when the girl said not to do anything after i accepted the quest it really didnt work for me i stood still and everything didnt move at all. i did like she said just go to the torch thing and right click and use the torch but it didnt work so im really stuck on this one so is there anymore detailed help with this quest anything like a walkthrough? they also said to get the kindling torch from the parseeism palace so idk if that might help with the quest but uhhh i would like to know where that is
