oh currently our guild is working hard toward getting a Guild City.... Founding member was iHearLess (me), Chiipo, MooMoo and n00bie. Our guild logan pretty much is "working toward a bright future" >>>>>> guild city. We are on the race to be the first to get the guild city. Our guild don't focus on pk or fighting as much as up level and more importantly -> getting gold and getting donation in the guild

After he got told by numerous people that fishing is done something AFK (as it's pretty uhmm... unorthodox to stare at the fishing bar for minutes if you're not chatting etc), he changed it to testing the PK system. I don't buy it and I know he does not need to prove anything to me but I thought it was worth mentioning since he's constantly blaming people for being rude (to put it mildly) for hunting him. Maybe he was testing the PK system while killing supposedly bots? Whatever...

Yeah, they were afk... sure. After being told AFK fishing was ok I actually went around and noticed that SOME people actually had some kind of 'AFK fishing' message over their heads.

Whether you buy it or not is irrelevant, it's the truth. I was the one who was flagged as killable, it was my choice to test it, so what you think or believe means squat, since you were not the one flagged.

Go back to playing with your chronic' Tied to your momma's apron string's' guild members and leave the people who are really testing the game alone.

I'm not questioning whether they were afk or not. I'm assuming that you killed them for being bots as it was your very first statement on yell. You didn't say "I'm testing PK system and killing random people", you said something along the lines of "I found bots fishing and killed them". That's not a very experimental approach since you are considering yourself a beta tester and accusing others for playing for free which is not a good basis since the game itself originally is free to play. Not to mention the fact that this game is not a new one, just an English version with mild tweaks at best to suit the NA/SA customer profile.

So yes kudos to you if you are testing it but no one is entitled to test each and every content of the game since every aspect of the game does not appeal to everyone and beta testing is a privilege as well as voluntary work. So in my opinion if you are pushing the limits of a discussion to bragging and accusing people, your argument should have no flaws or it's only lame, old flaming which is so last year.

I believe I am free to assume them all just like you assumed that I was a part of a guild (maybe you thought I'm member of HeartLess?), which is far from the truth as I am very much guildless and see little to no sense for being in one.

Honestly I'm not a fan of HeartLess even though I have no problems with any of its members but as an outsider to this vandetta, I believe they have all the right to do as they please and avenge the deaths of their 'bots'.

P.S I don't think trolling in forum is something to be beta tested by the way. Flaming people whom you have no idea about won't get you anywhere so take a moment to chill. And whereas yes, I did some flaming in this post my first one was not a subjective one as I only told the untold part of the story which you still haven't answered to. Have you tried attacking people with stalls? They may be bots as well since they are all afk and it's good beta testing to see if you can attack in a city or not. Not being familiar with 'stalls' yet I wouldn't know what you mean by that. I'd be willing to give it a poke or two to see what's up.

The company itself calls it a Closed Beta. Just because it isn't 'new' doesn't negate the fact that this is the stage the NA game is in.

What I had said was I killed 3 people who were afk fishing because they did not react to me attacking them. When I attacked them I EXPECTED them to fight back. They didn't, so that was when I figured out they were afk. I didn't know they were afk in advance of me attacking them. I do believe I mentioned after the fact that I went around looking at other people, and the 'AFK Fishing' being above their head. That seems to be a smart thing to do, the people I killed did not have any such message above their head.

From MY past experience, in order to do anything afk, you had to be using some third party software to do it. Now, if afk fishing is built into the game, so be it. I haven't experienced fishing yet.

From... beta testing a game that is at times marginally entertaining, less challenging, excessively repetitive, and easier to play than WoW(Not sure if you can consider these as positives though... it's dependent on your personal preferences). I prefer games that are challenging and non-repetitive(aka grinding).

The exp in this game is riduculously over-awarded almost to the extent that they may as well give everyone an item every two days that auto-levels you to maximum.

I'm willing to help test/refine the game in order to keep people like you out of the MMO's that take skill to play. This one is not meant for the more ummm... 'capable' audience(most appropriate), unless there are some major changes coming...

I can see potential in this game, but I seriously doubt it will occur any time soon.

And yes I do have a screen shot with the his name on it and the aftermath of the attack on all players. So if anyone has questions about it not happening I assure you it did and has its own screen shot..

They use a gitch in the game and port sit to kill incoming players during the herb quest..Income players cant even move or attack for up to 5 to 9 seconds. Now you have heartless members who in this very thread have head from a GM that attacking fishing players is againist the TOS doing the very same thing they complained about others doing to them..

I have beta tested Archlord, Dungeon seige 2, Rappelz, Jade Dynasty, just to name a few.. And without exception. This group of beta testers/players are the worst group of abusive bug using TOS breaking people I have ever run across in all of my years beta testing.. The makers of this game and GMs should stand up and take note of that..

Any player caught in the area of a port attacking incoming player without exception as listed in the revised TOS would be banned.. It was made so because a few dirty players found out you could do this and would sit at port points and pk every player coming into the area so they could get their drops. In this situation we have here you do it to keep others players out of the area so you can pick who in your guild gets to make the herb for 500k exp. That is abuse of a glitch for personal gain not a skill

Its how the code works moving form graphic screen to graphic screen and has nothing to do with a skill of any kind.. They cant remove the delay or code it out as its the way its suppose to work. But its a glitch none the less and players who use it for personal ingame gains are abusing this plain and simple.

Few comments on what you wrote, you should play the game a little bit before commenting like this. When you warp from one spot to another, you are immune to attacks for over a minute. So even before you warp in the attacks do nothing until you move, once you move the timer is gone but if you do not move the timer and immunity is on making attacking you impossible.

Secondly did you really Beta Test Dungeon Seige 2? If that is true I probably sat right next to you or around you in the same row of testers. I was working for 2K at the time in Westlake Village, CA so unless that is true you did not test this game.

first off I didnt move and was almost dead before I had chance to.. is it a another glitch or am I just unlucky that it does not work for me the way it does for you or did some one find a work around to that aspect of the game to be used in that area by players? Since that time I do not go into the area due to all the players port sitting to kill incoming players during the herb quest, you would have to be a fool to do so.

secondly Yes I did open beta test Dungeon Seige2. If you remember they sent out small segements to different groups of testers who applied to do so on game sites. Those selected were given a link to download their segment of the game to open beta test right before they went public. If you were there you should remember that..

There is a general in-game lvl requirement of 11, I think, to talk to Just Fan. Other than that, joining most of the guilds is level nonspecific since guild maintenance doesn't cost anything.

First off, I apologize for bringing this all back up, but I really, really can't just let some of these post go without a comment on it. I know, I know, none of my business, and it is months old, but, I can't believe anyone could even make this type of post.


A. Don't tell me u testing ANYTHING, if u testing something it shouldn't kill that player and plz don't tell me u need to test it to find out. You could test w/e it on mob or do simple calculation or use shout to get an answer. And what give u the right to test it on the player while they afk? Did u ask them and did u send an apologize to explain ur action, to let them know u testing? I don't think so. Also the basic fact is if u testing something on a player that afk, u SUPPOSE to make sure they won't die. If they do, u disrupting THEIR game play aka a browny point to get ban.


Whether he was testing or not, your argument is so completely stupid, it requires a comment. His "test" was supposedly on the PVP/PK system. You cannot test PK on an NPC. It just doesn't work. In addition to that, if you are testing PK, then how do you suppose you are supposed to keep them from dying? Again, a very stupid argument. You then go on to mention that it is disrupting to their gameplay, true, and imply that it could be a ban-able offense. In a game that has a fleshed out PK system with Crime Points, Moral Points, Jail, and fines, I find it hard to believe that the GMs didn't foresee PKing. They put IN-GAME measures in place to limit the PKing, but they did not remove it. Thus, it is well within the rules to PK, there are just consequences.

And oh yeah, if u see them fishing is obviously they r afk, who would wanna waste their time playing just to watch fishing bar move up. It call basic concept..learn it and get it. Now scram kiddo before Syd hand out ban hammer.


Again, a very poorly thought out post. First off, how exactly is it obvious they are AFK fishing, if you aren't familiar with the Dragon Oath fishing system? I haven't tried it, but I know that with other MMOs that I have played, you cannot AFK fish. Take WoW for instance. You throw a line in, you sit there and wait for your bobber to move, then you click it. You repeat this process for hours at a time until you die of boredom. You only have about a 15 second cast bar, and you have to click the bobber to catch anything. If you get caught "AFK fishing" on WoW, it means you are using a bot and you get banned. Now, I haven't tried it on Dragon Oath, so I wouldn't know, but I have done fishing on several other MMOs and as far as my experience, Dragon Oath is the ONLY one that allows and/or encourages AFK fishing. So to make it seem like only an idiot wouldn't know a fishing player was AFK, well that is a very stupid assessment.

In addition to that, you go out of your way to name-drop a GM's name and talk about banning. As if you saying something should mean something? I have seen players get banned for implying that they would have someone else banned. Regardless, your post was poorly thought out and poorly written.

1. Again, you assume people know that fishing = AFK. Well, maybe in this game, but this game isn't the end-all be-all. People from other games have had other experiences. Also, while getting killed is disruptive, it is PART OF THE GAME! If you are sooooo smart you would know this already.

3. Killing an AFK player (Whether fishing or not) can provide a lot of information about the PK system. It allows you to see that killing someone gives you crime points, killing enough people means even worse problems, any time you kill someone and get a crime point it opens you up to attacks from people in moral mode. When they get back they may have to spend an extra minute coming back from the dead, but that's different than interrupting someone who may or may not only have a few minutes to hurry and finish this thing they are doing before work/school.

First off, I apologize for bringing this all back up, but I really, really can't just let some of these post go without a comment on it. I know, I know, none of my business, and it is months old, but, I can't believe anyone could even make this type of post.




Whether he was testing or not, your argument is so completely stupid, it requires a comment. His "test" was supposedly on the PVP/PK system. You cannot test PK on an NPC. It just doesn't work. In addition to that, if you are testing PK, then how do you suppose you are supposed to keep them from dying? Again, a very stupid argument. You then go on to mention that it is disrupting to their gameplay, true, and imply that it could be a ban-able offense. In a game that has a fleshed out PK system with Crime Points, Moral Points, Jail, and fines, I find it hard to believe that the GMs didn't foresee PKing. They put IN-GAME measures in place to limit the PKing, but they did not remove it. Thus, it is well within the rules to PK, there are just consequences.



Again, a very poorly thought out post. First off, how exactly is it obvious they are AFK fishing, if you aren't familiar with the Dragon Oath fishing system? I haven't tried it, but I know that with other MMOs that I have played, you cannot AFK fish. Take WoW for instance. You throw a line in, you sit there and wait for your bobber to move, then you click it. You repeat this process for hours at a time until you die of boredom. You only have about a 15 second cast bar, and you have to click the bobber to catch anything. If you get caught "AFK fishing" on WoW, it means you are using a bot and you get banned. Now, I haven't tried it on Dragon Oath, so I wouldn't know, but I have done fishing on several other MMOs and as far as my experience, Dragon Oath is the ONLY one that allows and/or encourages AFK fishing. So to make it seem like only an idiot wouldn't know a fishing player was AFK, well that is a very stupid assessment.

In addition to that, you go out of your way to name-drop a GM's name and talk about banning. As if you saying something should mean something? I have seen players get banned for implying that they would have someone else banned. Regardless, your post was poorly thought out and poorly written.

Obviously, you don't know anything about testing a game. Hell, you don't know the English language. Also, there is not a rule listed that says you cannot kill an AFK player who is fishing. It just isn't there. Unless an admin tells me it is against the rules, it isn't. I've been killed just walking around, in a non-PVP area. It happens. I didn't cry to have the guy banned or anything, it is part of the game. Disrupting gameplay is not against the rules if it is done without abusing the game. I have a lot of people that "disrupt" my gameplay, by kill stealing, spamming flashing words in chat, etc. Even killing me is allowable by the game, and so it is not against the rules.

I haven't seen a lot of people with that message over their head. Regardless, the original person who was doing the killing claims that the ones he killed didn't have the message. It doesn't matter, because you are accusing ME of not being able to read, when you are the illiterate person who doesn't know what they are talking about. You say someone who came over from a different game with a different system of fishing altogether should know how this one works right away? First off, not everyone is interested in fishing. So why would everyone know about the way fishing works on this game? Second off, since you obviously have such a hard time with the English language, why aren't you playing the Korean version of the game with which you are so familiar with? I really can't believe someone with as bad of language skills as yourself would dare call me out on my reading ability. The bottom line is that you have yet to bring a real argument to the table. I don't think that is an issue. When you are beta testing a game, you can test any aspect you want. When you are alpha testing a game, you are generally asked to test out something in particular. If I wanted to experiment with pets, I can test things out with them, even though I am fairly certain SOMEONE has already tested just about every possible thing. I can still do my own tests. Plus, I do not see anything on the wiki page about PVP or PKing, as it's own page. The problem with this game is the lack of documentation. Certainly, there are enough of you VNs and whatever that came over from another version of the game, and sure, you all know what the deal is with certain things. Certainly would have a hard enough time getting you to explain it to new players though, in your non-English language. There is also very little information about fishing on the wiki. Nothing says you have to be afk to fish, or that you WILL be afk most of the time. Without proper documentation, how do you expect people to know all of this?

So you are telling me I should feel bad for someone who is advancing through the game without having to play? Tell me how that is different than botting? If I am getting items to sell and basically making money and leveling my skill up, and I'm not even at the computer? How is that different than the botting that the admins are suddenly on a witch hunt to remove? To me, it looks like people are taking advantage of a game mechanic, IE abusing. You should not be able to progress through the game without being there to play.

Technically, I lied. Yes, as it stands this is an issue for your guild, as it is in your guild thread. But the issue is my business, because it is the attitude of players like you which are detrimental to MY game existence. Players who have an attitude that you are above others, because you played the game in another language, players who have learned all the nuances and know how all the skills work and everything, and players who are part of a large and established guild/social system. We call them Elitists in other games. Players who care only for themselves. I don't know anyone in your guild besides you and loanpham/iHearLess. Loanpham appears to be a nice enough guy, he has done a lot of work with the wiki and other guides. His English isn't all that great, but overall he seems to be a good guy. You on the other hand, haven't even backed up anything you have said with fact, only "I've played the VN version. So I know what I'm talking about." and "There is a moral rule!" Certainly, there may be a "moral" rule, but it doesn't mean any one has to abide by it. I think it is morally reprehensible to kill babies, yet abortion is still legal in the United States. There are things that can be done legally that do not follow the overall moral consensus. Saying that, because something is in your eyes morally wrong, something is illegal or against the rules, does not make it so.

Just because it is against what you think should be done, doesn't make it against the rules. Personally, I think leaving the computer on over night and fishing, thus making money off of nothing, is unethical, morally wrong, and cheating. I think people are abusing a loophole in the game design for personal gain. Does that mean my view is law? No. It means I have a personal view on the matter, and you have a different one. 5. Most of the players in this game play the Viet version so they know the trick to lv fast. The game don't force u to do event to lv, u could grind on mob if you want. And I remember correctly the GM stated that there 3 ways to lv in this game, 1. Quest, 2. event, and 3. grind

First off, I don't care about shorthand. If I was writing notes in college, I would use shorthand. Perhaps. I like to write properly, whether it is on the internet, in real life, or text messaging. I'm sorry if the level of laziness on the internet is ridiculous. Some people are lazy, others are not. I also do not care about how many languages you have to learn, without a choice. Cry me a river. I know three languages with varying degrees of proficiency. I also know a "few" words in about five or six others. And if you recall, you were the one who started with the "learn to read" crap in the first place. I simply said I read better than you type.

As far as killing the person afk fishing, like I said, if you hate the person, you'll kill them whenever, you aren't going to pass them up because they are afk. It isn't cowardice, it is hatred. You'd kill him just the same if he was there, but the time you found him, he wasn't.

As far as being afk fishing, I understand that in this game, you generally afk while you are fishing. That doesn't mean if I DIDN'T know it, I didn't have enough braincells. I'd wager a lot of money that I have more knowledge and intelligence than 95% of the players in this game. This is the only game I have found where this is true. As I said, most of the "real" MMO's the ones that actual put money into stopping bots/goldfarmers/account sellers/etc, you have to be at the computer in order to fish. For someone who hasn't tried out this game's fishing, they would generally assume the same thing.

I never said I didn't want to learn the game. I've learned quite a bit about the game since I started playing, no help from players like you and Tainted. As far as questioning his comments, I am questioning his attitude, not as much his comments. He automatically assumes people SHOULD know something that is not in the wiki or the in game help. Just because he is familiar with that aspect of the game, doesn't mean everyone has tried it. He has a condescending and elitist attitude, makes comments about people's intelligence or braincell count if they don't know the stuff he thinks they should know. I guarantee that in practical knowledge I've forgotten more than he has ever known in his, probably 15 years of existence. I never questioned the facts he presented, I questioned the manner in which he presented them, the assumptions he made in his posts, and the attitude he has taken toward people who don't know the subject he does. And if you re-read my posts, I'm not just "contradicting his comments". I'm presenting factual evidence and informed opinions. Just because i have a large vocabulary and am able to use it should not make you jealous - it should make you want to pull your head out of your rear end and start helping players especially lower lvl instead of killing them. Perhaps u will make less enemies and more friends. worked for me.

yep, u did kill me couple of times, but all of those times, u was left with a crime, pretty much, thats what i wanted. :P And sorry to disappoint u, but I only have have negative crime while fighting with u. Im not stupid to get those unnecessary crime:)

I am lvl 70 u r lvl 84 i have killed you on many occasions alone and on many occasions in a team until you started using cheat codes. You have had crime many times so don't try to make your self out to be a victim lol.

There is no way u can hide the fact that 90% of the game players know who u r and what u r. The leader of the most disliked guild in game - really just a bunch of miss fit bullies teaming up in groups to pray on individual lower lvl players.
