I'm not 100% sure if you have to speak English in shouts. If you do then a lot of people are going to be hit hard. Although, I question how many of those people are playing the game from regions that are not meant to play here.

Well Its not a big deal if they play and keep any other language off Yell. GM's should at least inform all these non-english speakers to stop or face temp bans or at least mutes. For now all we can do is just wait and see what GM's do.

I just wanna tell you guys one thing. I'm viet but it's unacceptable for players to speak other laguages in world chat. I know how uncomfortable it is for other players who don't know Viet, Chinese, etc... Hopefully GMs will make an announcement that tells them to not speak other languages in world chat. Any1 who brokes the rules will get banned immidiately.

Granted you cant stop people from using other languages in private/party/guild. However, as more and more mmorpgs are becoming part of regionalism... There has been a crackdown on such things in world based chats. They have muted, and even banned those who refused to follow the rules in other games. You can say well they don't know enough English to understand what the gm is saying.... But, that doesn't hold up when they agree to a ToS. Never agree to something you don't read, or in this case are unable to read. For now though its only day two going into day three soon of the beta. So, for our closed community it won't be as big of a priority. Once the game is open to the public though will probably see a decline in other languages on shout with gm support.

You're viet, so let me make an example. If I'm playing in your version( Viet version) and I don't know how to speak Viet. My friends and I are always saying English, bad words, cursing ppl in the world chat. What do viet think about us?

Language is something that is hard to control. As it cannot be filtered, but only suggestively enforced.

As this is America, we have to respect everyone's freedom of speech. As this is a private game server, we can regulate how others are treated through speech and what is considered appropriate or not.

We highly implore our players to use English only in World Chat. This is not a rule, but a kind request to respect our community as an English-speaking game.

just passing by , and this caught my eye :D anyway , yeah its rude for people to curse in any language , I agree we should bann those words =| but, hey! anyone going to sit down and gather a whole bunch of other nationalities an write down all the dirty-dirty words there is an send it in to the higher authorities ? that was a suggestions , and by the way , that chat , i read through it , their only greeting each other lol I didn't see no bad words or even a single negatively >_<

Yeah it's hard to control. So you guys have to do smt to control it. I remembered in PCB -Z- made an announcement that told people to not use other languages in world chat. So it's now CB, please do something.
