Hi, I'm new here, just got my Closed Beta key from MMORPG.com. Always good to be a member at one of those MMO News Sites. ;P I have a couple of quick questions that I hope people can answer for me.

Are the servers down until September 24th and is that when Closed Beta starts, or was it a month until September 24th? Sorry, I was confused by what the thread said.

Could someone give me the break down of all 9 of the classes? Reading through the class descriptions I see what kind of weapons they use from the picture and occasionally some info on what they're strengths are. But I'd like to know strengths, weakness's, optional weapons, etc. Anything you can pull out of your head. :P

For anyone that has played, whats the best way to gain levels? Is this game quest-based leveling, mob-based leveling or boss-based leveling?

Any answers to those questions would be great.

Some comments:

I see that this game is a Martial Arts based game like some of the other MMORPG's. It also gives me the feel of a game called Scions of Fate with more realistic characters, better rendering and, overall, better graphics. It has taken a normal pet system and expanded to include tons of pets and I'm sure we'll get to know each pet's strengths and weakness's better once we start playing. I'm not big on a story line but from what I have read it is pretty advanced and in-depth.

I'm extremely excited to start playing this game. Feel free to respond with answers to my questions (preferably ;P), comments on the game you'd like to share, or anything else you have in mind.

Keep the flaming to a minimum ;P

To me, Dragon Oath is the best Martial Art MMO =] OMGG all the features are just crazieeee, daily events, instances, bosses, pets, items, etc ... xD
Let me answer your question:

For anyone that has played, whats the best way to gain levels? Is this game quest-based leveling, mob-based leveling or boss-based leveling?

I would say this game contains all three of them.
Quests: give a massive amount of experience but will stop at a moment until you reach another level.
Grinding & Bosses: basically what you'll will do when no quests are available.

Oh thats good to know. I've played so many games where either A) They give you so many quests you can actually skip all the boring non-plot based ones and still level at a fast pace or B) They give you 5 quests that give you 50% of a level and they wait 10 levels to give you more quests. Thats when all you do is sit around and pull huge mobs and AoE them a ton.

Its nice to know there will be a variety of killing ;P

And one more quick question. Are the quests boring and just require running around and killing one specific mob for a certain item? (even though thats what every quest is like, and I can't even think of a good example for a fun quest)

Scratch that last question, they're quests, I'll just deal with it. :P
