Wipe?

Will there be a wipe between pre-CB or alpha test( samething ? idk) and CB? I know from the interviews there are no wipes from CB-OB

I don't think there are going to be any wipes, so the alpha players will just have an advantage.

The past 8-9 years off playing MMORPG's i have never came across a game company not wiping in AT or CT, sometimes they do also wipe in OB but 80% of the time they do not. I don't know what there going to do but am going to say 99% they will wipe everything after CB.

Well, since they said they don't plan on wiping the Closed Beta, I'd say it is highly likely they'll wipe the alpha. Would seem a bit crazy to let alpha testers to carry their characters over from alpha to closed beta to open and beyond.

Just speculation though, anything is possible I suppose. Will just have to wait and see the official word on the matter :)

Yeah I just don't see them not doing a wipe. Oh well. It's typical for games to wipe this early. I got pretty high too, it's a shame...but I'll get there again. I learned a lot too.

There's almost definatly going to be a wipe, but us testers can take the knowledge we gained and get even farther in CB.

We will wipe characters after Pre-closed beta. After that you will be safe.

We of course want to come up with ways to rewards the Alpha & Pre-closed Beta Testers and will update soon.

should always be prepared for a character wipe. even after going live, a company might need to do a roll back.

Free levels!? (Although that would be defeating the purpose of a wipe) Will probably be something along the lines of a mount, yuanbao or a title.

Yuan Bao, from my understanding, is the Real-$$$ currency.

Yep, if you use the currency of ancient China ;) (yuan bao = currency used in ancient China).

yuanbao was used in the last game i played, another form of money, about the reward.. could be anything tbh, even double exp for 24hours :eek:.

Yeah the reward could be anything. I personally prefer ingame fashions as rewards, costumes that is. But that's just me :)
