Newcomers Guide
Hello everyone, I would first like to welcome you all to the world of Dragon Oath. Dragon Oath is an MMORPG( Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) set in ancient China around the 10th century. This game is based off of a novel/movie series known as Tien Long Ba Bu "Demi Gods and Semi Devils" which has to do with the mythology of the eight races of non-human deities described in Buddhist cosmology.
The story behind Dragon Oath revolves around an elaborate saga of complex, troubled relationships among numerous characters from various kingdoms and sects during China’s Northern Song Dynasty. The warring empires involved in the story are those of Song, Liao, Da Li, Western Xia, and Tubo. The struggles the characters experience within their combating factions affect the bonds between themselves and their families, societies, ethnic groups, and countries. As a result, strife and conflict abound, and each player will find himself quickly pulled in to the fray, striving to evolve and leave his mark. Part of this evolution involves choosing one of the nine martial arts classes. Once chosen, the player’s class will foster development of uniquely powerful skills and abilities that will define the player as a true force with which to be reckoned.
The main feature for Dragon Oath will have to be the community based game play. Everything has to do with interacting with the players. This includes doing quests, instances, joining a guild, pvp combat, even using bodyguards to run some transport. The game is not easy to solo as a lone player, the majority of the gameplay comes from the community.

Account - This button will take you to your changyou.com account page. Here you can update your information where needed.
Website - This will atke you to the do.changyou.com website. This site has loads of useful information, news, forum link, a lot of helpful guides.
Forum - This link will take you straight into the do.changyou.com/bbs forum site. Here you can sign up and get talking to the players and staff about the game, look for useful guides on classes or other aspects of the game, a great place to get to know everyone.
Patch - This link will take you straight to the download page so if you need to manually patch this is the place to go.
Shop - (Not available yet)
