Pardon me for the lack of picture because it only let me post only 4 images for some reason. Ill be posting skill image in between book 1&2, book 3&4, book 5&6.

Introduction

SPirit attack class, specialize in setting traps. Main weapon are Fan and Circle.

Advantage: high crit rate, traps that do aoe (area of effect) damage which is good for training. Have a chance for double damage because of skill.

Disadvantage: weak physical def, limited single target skill.

Minstrel ride on deer which looks kind of funky =) . Here's a sample of how minstrel looks like in-game.

Minstrel Skills (read at the end of skills for my advice on book)

Book 1: Blossom Sutra
Require level 1. Meaning once you enter the class, this book will already be open up to you.

Double-Edged Sword
The active skill of Minstrel, replace the regular active attack. Learn when book level is 1 (aka feat 1).

Blossom Island
The most basic trap of minstrel. AT beginning feat, you can set up to 4 of this same trap. This trap automatically blow up when enemies run close to it or automatically disappear after 30second. Learn when book feat is 1.

Fire Storm
increases target Fire Resistance. The amount of resistance will increase as book feat increase. Learn when book feat is level 1.

Flying Shadow

Pattern of Binding
This skill bind the enemy for 10 second. They cannot do anything and we cannot do anything to them as well. Learn when book feat is lv30.

Shield of Clouds
Increases team players' crit hit rate in a fixed area. Learn when book feat is lv40.

Book3: Bomb Snare
Require level 20.

Disorientation Trap
This trap causes damage up to 6 monsters from a fixed area and make them unable to use skills for 6 second. If it's not trigger for 30second, it will automatically blow off. Only 1 of this trap can be set at a time. Learn when book feat is lv20.

Trap Seeker
This buff allows player to see others' traps. Only problem is that the level of your Trap Seeker has to be higher than the trap level of the opponent to be able to see the traps. Learn when book feat is lv30.

Punishing Trap
The last trap for Minstrel. Causing damage up to 6 monsters of a fixed area and blind them for 3second, which mean they will run around like crazy for 3second. If this trap is not trigger, it will blows off after 10second...though I don't see any skill that can trigger this trap. Learn when book feat is lv40.

Book 4: The Chant
Require level 10.

Pheonix Defense
Pasive skill. Increase your armor spirit defense. The percent of increase will change as you level up the book feat. Learn when book feat is lv1.

Trigger for Disorientation Trap
This skill is the skill that uses to trigger Disorientation trap so that you do not have to wait for 30second for your Disorientation Trap to blows off. Learn when book feat is lv20.

Wrath of Flames
This is a mode. Once you are in this mode, your rage will recover 30% faster. Further more, there's 30% chance that you will slow down the enemy for 10second when you hit them. Cannot be use along with Ward of Nymph (another mode). Learn when book feat is lv30.

Mark of the Skull
This skill causes damage on a single target and have a 50% to make enemy go crazy for 4second. Requires to be on Wrath of Flames mode. Learn when book feat is lv50.

Book 5: Secret of Fresco

Causes damage on a single target and have % chance of dealing twice the damage for the next 20second. The % chance of x2 damage will increase as your book feat increases. Learn this when book feat is lv1.

Ward of Nymph
Another mode for minstrel, once you're in this mode, when your traps hit the enemy, the enemy will burn and lose HP for a fixed amount of time. Cannot be use along with Wrath of Flames. Learn when book feat is lv30.

Book 6: Palm of Storm
Require level 20. Skills in this book consumes rage in order to cast.

Ferrules Attack
Consumes 50% of full rage bar. This skill dealt damage to a single target and also drain some MP off the target (in pvp). Learn when book feat is lv10.

Wise Evasion
Take you out of silence and immune from silence for 10second. (Honestly I never try this skill before) Learn when book feat is lv30.

Power of Ice Water
Area of Effect skill that prevent 6 targets within fixed area from casting skills for 6second. Learn when book feat is lv60.

Book7: Huge Bang
Require level 65. I haven't reach lv65 yet, but from what I heard from people who had play minstrel longer, Huge Bang is the skill book that you have to get the book and learn it self. Huge Bang dealt damage and drains MP off a single target just like Ferrules Attack, only difference is that Huge Bang does not consumes rage and the amount of MP drain off target is twice as much as Ferrules Attack.

Book lv35: North Pole
Require lv35. Book with no skill, but as you level up the book, crit hit will increases.

Which Book to add, what attribute to add:
Book 5 is always needed because it has Frenzied Fire Ball which is very useful in pvp because of the chance of double damage AND also Ward of Nymph mode that causes burning which is useful in training with party.

Book 2 is also important because it provides you with skills necessary to capture enemy and so on.

Book 4 and 3 kind of go together because book 4 provide skill to trigger Disorientation Trap from book 3. However book 4 is more useful in pvp as to book 3 is more in training. So you decide which one to increase feat first.

Book 1 is active skill, so if you want your active damage to be higher then you can level it.

Book 6 is not important imo. Requires too much to cast...suggest not adding it.

Book 7...The reason I put it last is because you cannot learn it until you reach lv65, even if you have the book before that. This skill is an important skill in pvp because it drains off MP, which meelee classes lack.

Attribute
In my opinion, there are two popular way of adding the point into your attribute.

1. Full stamina: This way minstrel can stay in pvp longer because mintrel lack HP..one of the lowest class with HP.

2 Full Agility (my stats as well): Increase your crit..Minstrel special. But need to equip weapon with Stamina gem.

As for pet, I advice pet that can heal you (Dedication skill) because Minstrel lacks in HP. (if you follow full stamina, strong damage pet is more welcome)

Training
1. SOlo with pet that has Dedication. (skill can also be drop)
2. Train with party. Minstrel has aoe skill so it should be welcome to pt.

I will Update as I find more things about Minstrel.

Gem Priority
(base on my Full agility build)

For armor (include ring and amulet): Stamina gem, then resistance gem (since Minstrel already has fire resistance, better to put thunder resist or ice resist because Taoist and Lotus main element are thunder and ice), and for the third socket if you have, reflex gem is welcome because with little HP, it's good to have more Reflex since you will get less hit from enemy.

For Weapon: Spirit Attack gem to boost damage. Then Fire Attack gem or Hit Rate gem, depend on whether you want more damage or more hit rate. The 3rd socket will be for the leftover type of gem that you haven't use in second socket.

For Necklace: stamina gem is welcome again. Then Spirit Attack gem and Reflex gem

More on Pets
Pet that has high strength talent in my opinion is more welcome because minstrel can fight meelee classes much easier than spirit classes; therefore getting a physical attack base pet would help you in fighting spirit classes.
For this type of pet, you can either catch one with Dedication skill or find the skill book for it to learn, and this skill works with Loyal pet the best. Keep in mind if you want your pet to have both Smash (or advance smash) skill and dedication, then your pet can only fully maximize the potential of casting one skill. So you should catch a pet of either brave or loyal. Brave for damage skill and loyal for heal skill. I advice Loyal with dedication because if benefits both training and pk.

You can't add Stamina to amulet or ring

My bad, I'll edit them. Thanks for pointing it out. Never actually tried on amulet or ring, but always thought it can because it's in accessories category =)

U don't need ward of nypmh for parties .. U only use Ward of Flames ... And the relic consumes 700 MP and 5 min cool down ... But frenzied fore ball is very important in both PvP and pt :)
