Royalty Guide

This is my first time playing this game and this class, so there might be errors with this guide. So I apologize for any problems or any inaccuracy.

Description/Bio: Royalty Kung Fu prefers to use the finger instead of the sword and is most famous for the 'Six Veins Divine Sword' which attacks the bodys vital points to stun the target or reduce the target's magical power. It is said that Royalty Kung Fu is the bane of magic users.
Location: Royal Temple
Weapon Type: Fan or Chakram
Slogan: Don't think. Feel! It's like a finger pointing to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger or you'll miss all that heavenly glory.

Builds
Int/Str Build - Since Royalty have relatively low damage, you can put Int and Str to increase their damage. I don't recommend this build, because having slightly more damage will not be worth it.
Sta Build - Royalty have low HP and low defense, so building this way can help you survive longer.
Agi Build - Building this way will increase your hit, reflexes, and crit hit. I recommend this build the most, because this will give you high crit which will greatly help your low damage with less missing attacks as well.
Wpo Build - I never heard of this build before, but if you go this path you'll have high MP and good Spi. Defense. Although, I don't recommend this build at all.

Class Fashion
There's three fashion items for Royalty, but I think there is currently only two released in Dragon Oath.

Class Mounts
Royalty has two mounts (same with other classes), one is level 40 and other is level 60 to use/equip.

Here's the level 40 one: (38 gold, Movement Speed +40%)

Royalty Skills

First Book:

Esoterica of Glowing Arrows - Practice to increase hit of Royalty Disciples. (Required level 10)

Sting - Basic Royalty Skill. Causes continous damage to the target.
This skill is your normal attack, you only need to use it once. After that it will automatically cast when you target.

Flurry of Blows - Advanced Royalty Skill. Hurls a rotating halo causing massive damage to multiple nearby targets.
This skill is your AoE skill, and can attack 4 targets in a radius of 5 for 8 seconds.

Guardian's Ward - Royalty's bane. Increases the Thunder Resistance of your teammates.
This skill casts a Thunder Resistance buff on a target, and lasts 24 minutes.

Second Book

Solid Lock - Creates a golden lasso that immobilizes the target.
This skill locks/immobilizes your enemy, its cooldown is 120 seconds.

Field Promotion - Spawns a huge golden flower that increases the Hit rate of nearby teammates.
This skill casts a Hit rate buff for all teammates within a 7 meter radius, instant and buff lasts 600 seconds.

Third Book:

Viridity - Practice to increase HP of Royalty Disciples.

Sick Air - Advanced Royalty Skill. Puts a royal mark on the target and causes extra damage to the marked target.
This skill can be used on an enemy and increases your attack on it by a percentage (depending on the book level), its instant cast with no cooldown.

Now for Wrath - Hurls a golden circle that increases all resistances.
This skill increases all your resistances (Ice, Fire, Thunder, and Poison), its instant cast with no cooldown.

Rain of Thorns - Advanced Royalty Skill. Causes massive damage to the target and reduces its MP.
This skill drains a target's MP by a percentage (depending on book level), its instant cast with a 120 second cooldown.

Fourth Book:

Sun Cross - Spawns golden beams around you. Removes weakening effects. Requires Horse's Rein.
This skill removes all negative status effects and can only be used when Horse's Rein is active.
It's instant cast, with a 5 second cooldown.

Focused Eye - Spawns a big golden eye that increases your chance of Critical Attack. Requires Coverged Pink.
This skill increases your Critical Attack and can only be used when Converged Pink is active.
It's instant cast, with a 120 second cooldown.

Meditation - Practice to increase maximum MP of Royalty Disciples.

Tower of Ancient - Creates a Golden Tower that causes extreme damage.
This skill is another attack skill, it's an instant cast that costs 50% rage and has a 25 second cooldown.

Proof against all Ills - Advanced Royalty Skill. Prevents you from being silenced and incapacitated.
This skill removes Silence and Sealed statuses from you, and prevents the you from being Silence or Sealed for 10 seconds.
It's an instant cast that costs 50% rage, with a 25 second cooldown.

Focused Aim - Surrounds yourself with a small blue ball. Increases your Hit rate dramatically.
This skill increases your hit for all skills to 100%, it's an instant cast that costs 100% and lasts 20 seconds.

Seventh Book:

Six-Finger Sword - Practice to increase Crit Hit of Royalty Disciples. (Requires level 35)

Blade-Storm - Creates rounding circles that cause massive damage to the target and weakens it.
This skill does damage, and also decreases the target's Spirit and Physical Attack and Defense by a percentage.

Note - I think there is a total of three skills in this book, but I have only learned one of them.
You can find the seventh book and Blade-Storm from Thief Raid monsters. So be sure to always pick up the loot!

awsome :cool:. But there are still some unfair bout this class when designed.Any way I used to be a Royalty, I really like this class though, especially in group PK and PK with pet. This class is really suitable for a solving any problem even in hardest time (don't 'now how to say in fancy way though :p). Well good luck with who choose this class.:D

you must mean discipline. its gained by going to your skill master and using money and exp to level up your books. you won't get stat points until level 30.

Hi, Nice Guide,Thx! I just have one question? What is better for Royaltys, Spi Attack (full Int) or Phy attack ( full Str)!??? Im level 41 and I stil can not decide which of the two is better :mad:

Hello, I'm new to the game and have been reading the forum and conceguir not yet understand very well about the builds. Royalty and when I'm not step level concigo distribute my attributes. 1 has the head of a lion in the lower left panel of the character that I click on it to pass the level and it automatically distributes the points attribute. I wonder if there's any way that I can distribute these points. Grateful.

Since I am now playing my first full time royalty, am I to understand that both intellect and strength add to a royal's damage output? If so, why do I only see others using the circle artifact instead of the fan?

Also I noticed that this class can utilize each element. Would royalty actually benefit from the same boost of elemental damage as other classes? Or is it a percentage from each point? (i.e. would you gain a full point of element damage or 25% of a point with each 1?)

they can either use fan or circles as they like but circle ten to lean toward phys more than spi and vice versa.

As for element. You gain full benefit per point, not 25%. So pretty much, the more element a class can possess, the higher rate of elemental damage it can do. Also, it doesn't matter if u focus in 1 element or 4 element, the outcome is the same

Ex:

100 fire power, 0 light, 0 ice, 0 poison
is the same as
25 fire, 25 light, 25 ice, 25 poison.

nope, circles or fan would be the same... like i say fan --> spi more, circle ---> phys more. And lots of royalty tend to lean toward spi than phys :) but the true power of royalty derive from "color" =)

hahaha.... Lol!!!! :cool:im not pro here, but i know a bit bout all calsses in this game, i jsut recommended to u all if u put royalty calsses, jsut add the STATS full stamina only, coz i was experienced playing in TLbb, n meet no1 royalty,his name "DUEKS" lol, i remind the name , hehe:D about the stats, he said put all only to stamina, blabla, like that ok?? so full stmna better, thnx :P
