Has anyone tried to play this game in the new awsome window 7? Pls fill us in with what you have experienced pls!:p

im running the oem version of win7 build 7600 it loads up fine but still have not loged in due to my account sayings its not activated when it is my pc stats are below i will give more info on how it runs like fps and cpu/ram usage

I run on Windows 7. I have no problems with the game running whatsoever. Gotta say to Microsoft Windows 7 kills Vista :)

there will/should be no problems running the game in windows 7, for you people who don't know there is a compatibility mode for windows 7 and Vista which allows you to run most programs as a earlier version of windows.

to use this feature
-right click on a shortcut of the program
-click properties
-you will then see tabs on the properties window
-click compatibility
-then click run this program in compatibility mode for:
-then choose the correct mode for the program that it was designed for.

it should then work perfectly fine.

i actually rarely have to run this option because technically from reading APC magazine windows 7 is pretty much like a super service pack for windows XP

yea there are a few flaws within windows 7 and compatability mode. E.G i kinda play Battlefield Heroes and Combat Arms when im seriously bored, Combat Arms has a anti hack software within the launcher im still able to play with compatability mode, there really should be no effect from anti-hack software because technically its done within the OS and not from a third party application.

I havent tried the built verion of window 7 yet, but i think its not perfect yet. BTW, they will send to me an official version of window 7 on Oct 22. Ill try to run it on my laptop. And yes, window 7 is much better than Vista according to what ppl say on magazine and forums. I hope that i could hear my voice when i use the mic on window 7 so that i can karaoke on my laptop. Vista doesnt allow me to do that, weird!

windows 2000 is better then vista.
Vista is a power hungry OS it was released way to early with way to many bugs. it is the worst OS of the 21st century there is no point wasting your time with Vista, Windows 7 on in its release candidate is better then vista SP 2

atm,
dont install windows 7 on your main computer unless your planning to buy the CD key as soon as the time runs out on the RC edition (sometime next year.)

Some of my friends are using W7 built now. I decided not to run that and wait for the official version which will be sent to my home on Oct. Then, ill install that. I dont trust those built versions

thing is im a friend someone that started one of them win7 launch partys and i was able to snag a oem of win7 so i have the final release. the same as if gateway or hp would get. but yeah i was running the 7100rc build it worked just fine no issues. i just installed this version about a week ago. so far so good no issues.

Update on how it runs for the past 2 days it runs just fine on max settings and res. something i noticed i did have a crash but it did not like crash the client just poped up a error report and did not kill the client so i was still able to play. also i was able to run 2 clients and have both clients loged in and partyed with each other no slowdowns/errors at all.

No need to do this, runs fine without Compatibility Mode being set.

works great on mine. I leave it in window mode but have it maxed out on my screen so i can still interface with my second monitor. Graphics are great, rarely any lag. No probs with loads, errors, drop etc...


Windows 7 rocks what can i say :)
